Interview with Alan jackson:

The day after the verdict, I asked Alan Jackson, the lead attorney for the defense, if he’d had any doubts about his ability to get a fair trial for his client.

“I was in enormous doubt,” he said. “Did I doubt whether I could get a fair trial? Just about every single minute of every single day.”

Brian Albert said "woken from a cold sleep", is that a Boston phrase? Never heard that before.
In my mind, if I'm cold when I'm asleep, I am usually in a very light sleep or not fully asleep. "Deep sleep" or "dead asleep" is the normal idiom/phrase,
i have heard the term before.

That's the exact program that I watched. I came away concluding that she's guilty- NOT a police conspiracy like they want you to believe.
So glad you watched the documentary that was offered not for truth but for entertainment value and formed your opinion after four hours of a tv show.

If I think it through, I think I will go with the opinion and verdict of twelve jurors who spent six weeks of their life in a court room where actual witnesses were sworn in and evidence was presented.

The case is actually very complex with lots of layers so if you have an sincere interest I would iinvite you to dive in deeper and see where you land after that

I'm swaying as well.
Many questions I have since watching this doc. One that stands out amongst others - could she have deliberately reversed into his car and, puzzling that it appears that one of John's best friends for over 40 years, I think insinuates she's guilty.

Yes they did imply that LE planted the DNA- they implied that the Trooper was fiddling with the tail light in the bay that the car was pulled into in the video.
I think the disconnect here is that you are talking about details presented in a tv show - people here will be posting about the actual facts and details presented at the trial. Big DIfference IMO

I just watched the whole trial and DNA planting wasn't part of the defense. The defense's central argument was John was never hit by a car and this was supported superbly by uncontested medical and physical evidence.

I don't know where you are getting your info from. I haven't watch any extraneous documentaries or slanted programs because they aren't evidence. Whatever four hours thing you watched, it doesn't sound so accurate or factual I guess. Anyway, imo if you were to watch the trial you'd see the DNA was not really strong evidence for the cw. Moo

That actually is probably the worst program you could have watched to actually understand this case. There was so much information in the trial that was not on that program. You don’t need conspiracy, the lack of investigation is enough for BARD. You don’t even need to believe the police plants - even though most of those here that have watched for 2 years believe it.

Frankly, the CW couldn’t prove why when they loaded her vehicle on the tow truck before it was in police custody, her taillight is mostly intact and red. It is only obliterated after it was in custody.

At least one juror that has been speaking out has said they physically saw and touched the tail light, they saw and touched an intact tail light, they watched the videos over and over and over again. They concluded that her tail light was NOT smashed into 47 pieces after she bumped John's vehicle.

ARCCA - the FBI/Defense experts, did a test ... at 29mph with a full on body hit... smashed the back of the SUV, the back window and the tail light... you know what it didn't break? the inside light diffuser (as it implies.. it diffuses the light to carry the light). Karen's tail light... was 'smashed'.. including the diffuser inside. There is just no logical way that his arm broke that with the limited physical damage to his arm, no breaks, not bruising.

It seems clear that the defense went the right direction with their focus this trial. The jurors that are speaking out gives us a clear picture - reasonable doubt. They may have either been tuned off or rejected the conspiracy angle. They also may have been harder to convince on the planted evidence. I think possibly the juror from the last trial helped them know this. I know what I believe. But, some of these jurors literally didn’t know anything about the case. What a relief it must be for Karen to finally be free and not have this hanging over her head!

You really should watch the trials. But, you really don’t have to do that. All you have to do is go out to your car and beat your rear taillight into 47 pieces with your arm and then look at your arm. I’ve actually hit my arm on the back taillight before while walking by, rather hard I might say, hard enough to swell up a golf ball sized know and a bruise that lasted for days. Looked at taillight. No damage. To obliterate a taillight into 47 pieces, including the “ shattered” small pieces, the arm would have been mangled. I know in a trial, you need credentialed “experts” to counter the CW credentialed “experts”, but really. Does one have to have a PhD in physics to realize the body did not match the CW theory in this case? Nope.

Further, various evidence, including seeing videos of the rear of the Lexus with my own eyes verify that the taillight was not obliterated when it went o. The truck to be hauled off. This is backed up by a POLICE OFFICER, one who was not involved with the victim that night and not part of their clique, who watched the Lexus being loaded onto the trailer and he verified what we saw with our own eyes. They, once in the sallyport, portions of the sallyport videos mysteriously disappeared.
I could go on and on, but it would take days to type out all the exculpatory evidence.

The one thing that I don't understand is... some of those videos were obviously edited, like the one that makes the inside of Karen's car look neon green LOL How was the CW allowed to get away with that?

No, only him, subconsciously: JOK out in the cold. IMO
The garage is cold too. I don't believe for a second he was asleep.

On a related note, the latest microdots video has a photo of the view of the flagpole area from the Alberts' bedroom window. Yikes. Talk about a bird's eye view.

Thanks for the heads up! Wow! Now I have even less doubt that they were awake that morning!!!

Very disappointed in both Dateline and 20/20 programs since the trial. Slightly slanted?? Given what I know from both trials - I watched everyday of both - makes me wonder how they cover other cases.

Almost critical of the supporters of KR. Do they not wonder why that is? Maybe it is not all about KR may be it is about the known corruption first hand. I would hope the SB case gets the same support.

Giving MP any platform to spew his lies is beyond me. He still thinks it's only about his texts. When have you seen someone who has lost their job given TV time?? Cavalier and disgusting.

TB is not my favorite person but he has to be given credit for his tenacious investigating. What has he discovered that hasn't turned out to be true

Blow that pic up and look at the text in the black banner. Why does the “y” protrude below the limits of the black ribbon?

The same way the inverted video shown to the jury didn't cause a mistrial? Or Brennan intimating in front of the jury that the holes in the back of the hoodie were caused by road rash and not cut out in the crime lab? Gosh, so many things they were allowed to get away with.

I bet someone has done this on tiktocy.
And if one finds a video ,please share with me!

So finally getting around to watching the Dateline episode with Proctor. One thing I didn't know was that KR and JOK had had a prior relationship of some sort.

And the fact they didn't grill Proctor on his relationship with Kevin Albert yet let him gloss over his ties by saying it was distant ties to Chris is laughable. Just like the interview with the McAlberts, nothing but softball questions that seem like ABC is trying to help then rehab their images

I was blown away at how close the flag pole was to their window. Makes their claims they were asleep through everything even less believable than I had thought possible
