I was blown away at how close the flag pole was to their window. Makes their claims they were asleep through everything even less believable than I had thought possible
But did he cry though??

I'm swaying as well.
Many questions I have since watching this doc. One that stands out amongst others - could she have deliberately reversed into his car and, puzzling that it appears that one of John's best friends for over 40 years, I think insinuates she's guilty.
Guilty of what? JO was not hit by a car and that is not how he was injured. It amazes me how people lose sight of that. JMOO

So finally getting around to watching the Dateline episode with Proctor. One thing I didn't know was that KR and JOK had had a prior relationship of some sort.

And the fact they didn't grill Proctor on his relationship with Kevin Albert yet let him gloss over his ties by saying it was distant ties to Chris is laughable. Just like the interview with the McAlberts, nothing but softball questions that seem like ABC is trying to help then rehab their images

Yes, Karen had dated John briefly in the early 2000s but lost touch. During the pandemic he reached out to her on Facebook and they started seeing each other.

Proctor is such an idiot and it's always astounding to me when so-called national journalists don't do any homework or are too cowardly to ask fundemental questions of those they interview. Or maybe it's the editors who take out anything that doesn't fit with the show's previously determined narrative (aka "bias")?

Not only was Proctor clearly good friends with Kevin Albert, who got so drunk on a work assignment with Proctor that he lost his badge and his GUN, Chris Albert's wife was a regular babysitter for Michael Proctor's small kids.

So even if Proctor's relationship with Julie Albert was one degree of separation too far for them, how do you miss the Kevin Albert stuff? It came out last trial through Proctor's texts and it was big news.

They not only would have heard the commotion, a glance out the window a few feet from their bed would have confirmed it was bad. They could have seen everything that was happening.

So, Brian Albert says he'd have taken a bullet for Johnny, but almost in the next breath, asks what was he supposed to do - put his pants on and go outside? He's only a Boston cop, not a Canton cop!

And first responders aside for a moment, there were two other people in that house who were also oblivious and disinterested. Nicole and Junior. I'm no first responder either, but if that was going on right under my window, snow or no snow, I'd have put on my pants and a pair of boots and run outside to see what was going on and what I could do to help.

Keep on talking, Alberts and McCabes. Higgy might not be willing to show his face, but we'll always be happy to hear what you have to say.

I don't think I had ever heard that.

Yeah I'm sitting here watching it asking myself did they do any research on this at all,? Was he not allowed/told not to ask about certain things by the editors because of wanting a certain narrative out to the public?

That's what made me laugh is all of this is widely known information yet he only had distant ties? Whose wife sent the text about getting him a gift?

Someone is going to break! I think it will be one of the young ones. Time will tell. It's hard to keep a secret burried.

I don’t know how to articulate it but Brian Albert has the mannerisms, posture, facial expressions of someone who you can tell has anger issues and trouble keeping it in moo

After seeing how close it really was and his comments about not getting dressed because he was a Boston cop, I truly don't understand how some people can't see through all their BS. They could care less about him but act like they were great friends and want all the sympathy now playing the victim card. Pretty disgusting in my mind

And, WHAT ABOUT THE DOG???? A GSD would NEVER sleep through that kind of racket on its own property!

100%. And notice how the others all keep looking towards him when they answer quetions. "Am I doing good, Brian?" is the vibe. The side eye and look he gives Jen when she answers the Hos Long To Die question! The Youtube body langauge experts are going to have fun with that interview for a long time to come.

Astounding that they thought this interview would be a good idea.

Proctor's sister is very good friends with Chris Albert's wife, Julie. She's the one who stated that she was gonna get him a gift "when this is all over". Yup

I wonder if they got paid?

I wonder if they got paid?

With the possible exception of Chris, I doubt any of them needed the money. Brian was making 250k a year before he retired and is on a full police pension and Matt owns a successful IT business. Neither of the women have ever needed to work. They did this for public relations reasons only. Don't look at us! See how innocent we are!

I think it's safe to say that mission was not accomplished.

BBM; IMO, their interview cemented in my mind that they know what happened that night. They’re trying hard to get ahead of something……. Their responses seemed rehearsed. I think it was MicroDots who created a video of JMc and MMc’s testimony and their similar phrasing in the responses.

ETA; I’m just starting the newest Micro Dots video. Many thanks to the person who posted about it!

the garage photos... The defense tried to get those in, but... nope, they were not allowed.

Did you consider perhaps watching the actual trial and looking at the evidence before making judgement on Ms Read's supposed guilt?

I wish they had done the "view" after hearing more of the evidence as that window placement is so telling and clearly they knew what was going on...had somehow sent the dog away and all the rest. AS it turns out jury had it figured out.

Does anyone know the reason they were not admitted? I must have missed that or is it another "sealed" discussion?
