The Brian Alberts covered this by claiming under oath that Chloe girl was sleeping in the closet in their bedroom with the door closed. So deaf, dumb and blind to anything going on. Convenient. But IMHO, one of their more obvious lies.
If she was a 13 year old dog, maybe. 6 to 8 years old and obviously reactive? Nope.

I found this quite interesting:
Niece testifies on her relationship with Karen Read

  • "It was…kind of dependent on the day"
  • "Some days we were more on good standards and other days we weren't on good standards at all and she would like favor my brother."
  • "She would not ignore me but it felt like a coldness."
  • Brother and Read: "they were pretty close."

I wonder, given all that the kids have been through, what their life is like now. They really had no other option but to live with the O'Keefe grandparents and wonder what that is like. How are they more suitable now than when JOK fought for them. What about their paternal grandparents and family?
As they get older, as they form their own opinion, they will have anger issues from all that they have been fed. IMO, KR was a good influence on them.
Right. They can't live with Uncle Paul. He texted he disliked having kids. So sad.

I can’t post the you tube channel here because it’s not from a verified source, but I just watched a channel where the person read all the texts between John and Karen during the day of the 28th and it showed a lot about what was happening in his house. He was overwhelmed by raising the kids and didn’t think he was cut out for it. She was telling him he was doing a good job. But she also said a few times that the relationship with him, her and the kids was causing problems in their relationship with each other.

It’s a shame that someone else couldn’t take those kids after the parents died. John, in his 40s and a lifelong bachelor did the right thing but needed help. Karen also was never married and never had kids so both of them were flying by the seat of their pants.

This governor is a real disappointment IMO

After delivering remarks at the Living Histories of Color Recognition Program at Embrace Boston’s Embrace Ideas Festival, Healey was asked by reporters to share her thoughts on Wednesday’s verdict in Read’s murder retrial.

“The trial ran its course. So, you know, I always reflect on the family of John O’Keefe and feel very sorry for them,” Healey said. “The criminal justice system has run its course, and there is finality in that. My best to members of the O’Keefe family.”

Yeah, it seemed to me a lot of their problems at the time of his death stemmed from disagreements about approaches to the kids/how to navigate Karen's role in their lives as John's long-term significant other but not spouse, which is complicated enough already. The niece is the elder I believe and just about to enter high school, right? And the youngest three years younger. So already a difficult age for both kids and parents under completely normal circumstances, let alone two kids who had lost two parents within two months of each other and then raised by an uncle who had no children of his own. I think even the best parent in the world would have a hard time figuring out all those dynamics without a lot of road bumps and a lot of tension between the adults, imo.

Is there a link for this? Thanks.

Might not be a popular opinion, but I actually would prefer the governor of the state I'm in not spend her days watching a criminal trial like the rest of us! She has much bigger things to deal with. And it's pretty neutral to wish the O'Keefes well and offer them condolences for their loss.

Michael Morrissey is a whole other beast. "The jury has spoken" is all he'd say. I know he's up for re-election next year, but he should resign immediately.

I believe this is an approved news source. According to the survey they cite, only 4% of Norfolk County residents support his re-election. Be gone, corrupt fool!

Over 3 and a half years, and the CW could not find a single ME/pathologists/doctor that would testify that John O'Keefe was hit by a car. I wonder if we will ever get a list of how many doctors they approached.

This is why I wonder if the O’Keefes will withdraw the civil case.

If I were Karen’s lawyers, I’d subpoena the CW to get those records.

Unfortunately, something like that is likely not covered under public disclosure/freedom of information act rules.

But it's a safe bet they looked high and wide not only for medical experts to back them up but also for biomechanical experts to do better than poor, pathetic Trooper Paul did last time. And all they got were some highly questionable "experts", one with phony credentials and the other who slathered himself with blue paint to prove something the jury seems to have found laughable.

the garage photos... The defense tried to get those in, but... nope, they were not allowed.
Those garage photos were real!? 😳 I had no idea. Thanks for the info. 😊 Did the Alberts ever explain what happened?
ETA: to expand on my thoughts.

Question to McAlbert's, if you want justice for John O'Keefe, would you mind giving your DNA?

100%. And notice how the others all keep looking towards him when they answer quetions. "Am I doing good, Brian?" is the vibe. The side eye and look he gives Jen when she answers the Hos Long To Die question! The Youtube body langauge experts are going to have fun with that interview for a long time to come.

Astounding that they thought this interview would be a good idea.
As far as I can tell from that interview they are all dumb intellectually as a box of rocks
But they are street smart and know how to manipulate/ gaslite/bully - go along to get along aka work the system. These are the people with sharp elbows knocking you over to get to the front row.
Not a shred of integrity or emotional intelligence.
I keep asking myself …who are these people?

She is a big time bosom buddy of Morrissey.

I just wrote in another post that I believe the Gov is tight with Morrissey.
She gets mixed reviews from me on many issues and I had pretty high hopes and voted for her.
I think the DA will retire. I just hope we don’t get more of the same as a replacement.

Michelle McPhee who is not mainstream media so I cannot link her but she always has a lot to say about Morrissey. She knows where the bodies are buried. JMO.

The case is actually very complex with lots of layers so if you have an sincere interest I would iinvite you to dive in deeper and see where you land after that

JMO

I think it was a very simple case once you swept aside the nonsense. I mean she literally turned up at the crime scene at 6am and confessed she hit him , multiple times which was heard by multiple independent witnesses. Something which has been laughably brushed aside. What innocent person turns up at the scene of a crime and admits they did it? This is unprecedented.
