“Jackson was also asked if Read is planning a federal lawsuit, but he said that's something he's not willing to talk about right now.

"I will say this," he said. "Karen Read has proved herself to be a fighter. She's not going to sit back in a corner and get punched. Everyone has a plan until they get hit in the mouth, as Mike Tyson said, and Karen Read has shown she knows how to hit others in the mouth. I doubt seriously she's going to be a wallflower during the course of this new legislation. Whatever that means, we'll see."

gifted/no paywall

Interesting. There was a lot of speculation about what the grand juror was leaking when this first came to light. Some reporting said it was about KR while Turtleboy and a few others said it was actually about the state trooper licensing scandal.

Well it turns out she leaked info about both cases.

There's a little more detail in this article from the Globe:

It's behind a paywall, but basically the defendant was texting about the cases with her pal, who decided to post the information on twitter.

For goodness sakes people! If someone is passing you secret inside info, keep it to yourself. Or at least just blab to your pals. Back in my day, we knew how to properly rumormonger. Kids today just post everything online for the whole world to see.

Oh, what a shame. 😂
I know your statement is meant ironically, but I sincerely believe it is a shame. Because of Proctor's shenanigans, it's a distinct possibility that one or more real murderers will never answer for their crimes.
