Officer Kelly Dever resigned, effective Sept. 1. Police didn't share more information on the circumstances around her resignation, saying only that the personnel order on the resignation was released Friday.
Interesting. I wonder what she’ll do now. Her name is so searchable/Googleable. Her false memory claim really sunk her. I do believe her original story was correct but then she had to get out of it and sounded unbelievable and crazy.

What company hires people who have false memories? Disneyland? Red Lobster? A mortuary?

This individual’s testimony was a real piece of work. And the visit to see the commish! And how she answered that. She’s so ‘special’ ……. and doesn’t even know it. SMH.

Her demeanor didn’t help her. Jackson absolutely turned her into mincemeat. As was deserved. And he did all that without (necessarily) declaring her a hostile witness (I think I am remembering this correctly?)…..oh no, is the false memory stuff rubbing off on me….. :)

For former office Dever….

Wouldn't even shock me much if the Canton PD took her back.

I mean, she's a Canton girl after all. And they do love their townies.

Dever said it was a “false memory” that she “provided in good faith,” which she then “retracted immediately [upon] being provided evidence that it was not possible.”

She also testified that Boston police Commissioner Michael Cox called her into his office for a one-on-one discussion before her testimony at the retrial. (Read’s first trial ended in a hung jury last year.)

Read lawyer Alan Jackson asked if Cox told her to “do the right thing,” and Dever said she couldn’t recall the direct quote.

“He said nothing with the intent of guiding me one way or the other,” Dever said, adding that Cox “wanted me to tell the truth up here.”

[..]

Cox said the Read case “is over, and we’ve got a lot of other stuff to talk about. I have nothing to do with Karen Read. I was in the state of Michigan” leading a department there at the time of O’Keefe’s death.

The corruption is absolutely horrible. The state needs to leave KR alone. Enough BS. I can't understand how any of these assholes still have their jobs. Everything that keeps coming out continues to prove corruption from the very beginning.

@ 28:20 Peters said that KD's testimony should be used by LE for when an officer is called to testify on what not to do.
He called it "a great teaching moment"

Peter critiqued a long interview ( Billy Bush?) that AJ did and has some "big disagreements" with him.

So Kelly Dever has resigned from BPD. Should she still be put on the Brady list in case she begins working as a PO for another LE agency? How would that work?

They’re calling John “JJ” to paint him in a more affectionate light. The fact is, he was drinking during the day and told Karen he sobered up around 3 pm, then went to the bars with her and left his niece alone at home till after midnight. She was just a kid and she shouldn’t have been home alone while her lone legal guardian is out getting drunk.

and then the lawyer for Paul gets up and says Karen hit him and plots out her story. Everyone knows how that played out. He sounds like he’s going to cry.

This is another farce of a trial. It's going to be another loss for the O'keefe's. How much more humiliation will they take before they wake-up and see what really happened to their son/brother?

Bwaaaaahaaahaaaahahahahahahahahaha. The judge asking both parties to try to come to an agreement instead of going to trial!! That's a good one your honor. Israel and Hamas might have a better chance of a peace agreement before these parties even speak to each other and agree on ANYTHING!
