she goes by Mama Llama on twitter. Hates Karen and posts a ton even though the trial is over. Now she’s jumped on this thing for the McAlberts and Higgins.
Pure high school mean girls!! Grow up

I can’t wait to see if this is a train wreck (like Sheri Papini’s movie where they made it look like she had to run away from Keith) or will be based in facts. Not holding by breath though, so it’ll probably be a hatewatch from me.
Curious to see the angle or agenda and there is one, I'm sure. IMO, even the Murdaugh series with some actual participants as consultants was full of literary license.

Wow!! Throw another cop on the pile of cops who quit, got suspended, demoted, fired, etc, etc that were somewhat involved in this case. Seems like the stuff has hit the fan up there.

I'm not on Mass Daily or X. Can anyone give us a cliff notes version. Who, when, what, where, and how?? This is a good thing right?? What is everyones impression?? TIA

Tonight at 8:00PM (Eastern) on Lifetime:

About the Movie

When Boston Police Officer John O’Keefe is found dead in a snowbank outside a friend’s home, his girlfriend Karen Read, is charged in connection with his death. What begins as a tragedy quickly ignites a firestorm that captures national attention.

This should have been developed as a limited series of 4 episodes. No way was this truely presented. I was not a bit impressed with this movie for so many reasons. For me to have watched the trials in real time and to have participated in and viewed podcasts, message boards, etc. it was a real joke how they rushed to include as much as they could in small choppy scenes. For those seeing it as just a regular Lifetime movie, it could not have been entertaining at all, like what just happened??? Really disappointing and ridiculous.

It's like a broken record by this point. Another one bites the dust!! DA Morrissey will NOT be running for re-election. Just another coincidence right???

Praise be !!!! His reign is over and it is no surprise that he will not run again. He would not be able to withstand the controversy or criticism. His minions will scatter and duck. A culture shock to those who have ridden his coattails for years. Many more will retire to spend more time with family or seek other employment but in such an incestuous community where and how far can they run.

so sad.
Especially when we know there is plenty of good directing and content development wizards out there.
AND there just IS so much content available.

I have seen, when a better production DOES come out further down the road.
I expect there is enough disappointment for that to happen.

There is a 2 part, podcast interview with Karen Read. Her first interview since her acquittal. I wasn’t sure the rules about linking things like a podcast but the show is called Rotten Mango for anyone interested in listening

To think the Morrissey news came one day (or two?) after this was released...

I don’t think I can post the link here as I’m not sure if it’s an approved source but Microdots has a new video subtly called “How Michael Proctor ruined his life”.

I have one question. Karen’s suv was taken from her parents’ house to the Canton police department even though they were conflicted off this case. It was 35 miles away. Bukhenik said they had to go there because they had an indoor, heated Sallyport.

However, in this video, at around the 24 minute mark, it’s shown that a heated, MSP structure is much closer to the house and has 12 indoor bays. Did we know this place was heated? I had given Bukhenik and Proctor a little benefit of the doubt for taking the vehicle to Canton because of the snowstorm and thought it was better that they go somewhere inside but it’s obviously another lie.

Thanks for posting about this. It's really quite remarkable and outrageous when revisiting this case and seeing all the discrepancies in evidence like Microdots pointed out. I wonder what Proctor will work at next.
