Thanks for posting about this. It's really quite remarkable and outrageous when revisiting this case and seeing all the discrepancies in evidence like Microdots pointed out. I wonder what Proctor will work at next.
The other thing I didn’t know about was Berkowitz waiting for them at the station when they brought her SUV to the Canton sallyport. I wonder why the defence didn’t mention these things. Brennan made a point of asking Bukhenik why they brought it to Canton and he said it was because it was heated and the others weren’t. That wasn’t true. I don’t remember AJ saying a word about it.

I imagine AJ didn't have enough proof of his motivation to call it out? Then we have Higgins, from an entirely different agency, allowed to come and go in the sally port all day too. Kelly Dever saw Berkowitz and Higgins huddled together and talking for a weirdly long time. All of them are an enmeshed bunch of white bald dudes wanting to be part of the action, and KD too much of a coward to tell the truth in public. I think she must have believed her interview with the FBI would be confidential, and when she found out she had to testify in front of her peers and the public in open court, she panicked. The one respectful, honest, humble cop out of the whole bunch was Nicholas Barros, who spoke the truth despite going against well-known cops in the system! He is a hero!
MOO
ETA: Another surprise was the Chief Rafferty also in the sally port, shovelling out snow? But staying away from the rear of the vehicle? C'mon!

I wish there was a way to get the complete videos both in and out of the sallyport. I know that’s never going to happen but between all the missing pieces, that one video that had a ton of visual noise, and the inverted part, it’s so obvious some people did some major manipulating.

Some are saying that BH landed the fatal blow to JOK the place and manner TBD. What I still can't wrap my head around is why if that is the case the McAlberts et. all would go to the extent they all have to protect BH. AND if it is correct BH just basically disappeared after for a long time until this lawsuit. They must think that everything is still under control.

They wouldn’t do this to protect Higgins. That’s why I think either he and Colin or he and Brian Albert caused his death. Then toss in Chloe who is Brian and Nicole’s dog who has caused injuries before. They would end up with a claim against their home insurance. They all expected Karen to take a plea and didn’t think far ahead enough. I hope the house defendants keep talking. Higgins is smart not to.

I really have always believed that BH was a witness to the actions of others. Yes BH may have instigated the action to bring JOK to 34 Fairview but protesting too much whether Colin was at the house or not at the house when John was there, make me think that it was possibly CA and BA, both loose cannons and worthy of the protection from the rest. I'm also surprised that BH joined the civil suit.

I can see that at the morning meeting the day after that the scenario was cooked up to blame KR and protect CA and BA with BA controling to group. To this I can see BH alienating himself from the group and disappearing and remaining quiet. Compare BA and NA actions of selling the Canton homestead of many years and moving to another state.

True or not I have heard or read somwhere that BA and NA have split up and that BA is now a PI starting his own business????

In the 25-page filing submitted on January 16, 2026, Proctor denies allegations that he spearheaded a “corrupt and biased” investigation, while admitting to several controversial procedural decisions that have long been the focus of public scrutiny. Proctor’s defense asserts that Read’s complaint is not factually correct and should not move forward.

Proctor claims, "he did everything by the book".
This guy is unbelievable.

Proctor Defends His Honor in His Answer to Karen Read's Complaint

This is a long interview but I watched it over several sessions. Karen Read shared some interesting tidbits -like one of the male law students now works as part of AJ's law team, how surprised they were when Brennan only recommended 1 year probation instead of a 2-year jail sentence, and how she no longer wants to live in MA, just to name a few things she discussed. Also, how there is more evidence they want to bring out during the civil trials that never saw the light of day.

I certainly don't blame her but that would be a tough choice for her as her family remains in MA.

I don't know if she's allowed to move out of state while on probation? She finds it crowded living in the house with her parents and she's thinking about what to do next. I imagine she'd take her parents home over prison any day! Then there's her three civil suits to get through which I believe are all taking place in MA. She no longer feels a sense of safety in MA due to the policing there. I don't blame for having a sense of fear or anxiety, particularly with any of those bizarre LE or their family members roaming around the state - possibly drunk, bitter, and/or resentful. Could you imagine her being pulled over by one of those creeps again. I dont know if she's driving again or is allowed to while on probation but I'm sure she's thinking about that into the future. She was asked if she has run into anyone from that group and she hasn't yet, although she was told by someone working at a bar she went to that BA had been there around the same time she went. Chances are she will cross paths with some of them at one point.
