Dighton PD provided me the tow report last August. Ofc. Barros noted in the report "the vehicle had damage to the right rear taillight". He is telling jury about that now

defense has previously said taillight was cracked but not shattered or destroyed at this time

Lally is finished with Ofc Barros. The defense has no questions for him. Jury sent out for a break. Lawyers at sidebar with Judge

Sgt Barros also says there was some snow covering a portion of the tail light...agrees with Lally it was "caked on there." Waited 30-60 min for Proctor and Bukheke to come out.

He says he never saw anyone messing with the tail light. With that Sgt Barros is done with no cross examination.It's time for the morning break.

Barros says he spoke to Trooper Proctor on the phone. He went with Proctor and Bukhenik to Read’s parents house. Tells Lally he also called the tow truck.

Says he noticed Read’s taillight was cracked and a piece was missing.

I wonder why the defense didn't ask Ofc Barros to tell the jury exactly what the damage to the tail light was?

Jackson showing video from another camera in the sallyport (poor quality) that would have shown the right rear taillight area and anyone around itAsks YB why there is a 42 minute gap after KR's SUV is driven in by tow truck driver.YB says cameras are motion activated and video was not altered in any way.

So is this video mirrored as well? Are all videos from the sallyport recorded as a mirror image?

Because the CW is saying the mirror image video was not altered, it means the footage was recorded that way. That doesn't make sense.

What does he mean by a piece? As opposed to multiple pieces? Did he even give an estimate of the size of the piece? Defense should have crossed him imo.

45 pieces was definitely overkill, Proctor Trooper. Next time you try to frame someone by planting evidence, try to make it at least a little believable.
