Anything is possible, but there doesn't seem to be a reason not to call 911 if she fell in her driveway.
No reason not to call if she fell. What if she hadn't cleared the truck when he started to leave and he accidentally hit her ?

No reason not to call if she fell. I was thinking more along the lines of what if he didn't realize she hadn't cleared the truck when he started driving ?

Then he almost certainly would have called 911. It was broad daylight and there were three small (but old enough to talk) witnesses with him. When I heard the phrase "unintended accident" thrown out there I took it to mean an overdose or something along those lines.

The children were all with their father in the truck/car and said they all shouted their goodbyes to Sandra. She may of stayed outside waving etc. to them as they left. Might be why he didn't see her actually go inside.

Just speculating but she might have lingered outside to smoke and that's why no one saw her go inside. She'd been with the kids in the truck awhile and had not had the opportunity.

We heard that the kids were supposed to spend the night with Sandra on Friday. I wonder if that was a regular occurrence on Fridays or if this was a special occasion. It would have made her usual Friday of child-minding a very long shift for her.

Me too. We don't know much about what Sandra's lifestyle or what she did with her time when she wasn't babysitting, only that her family didn't know about any friends. If someone supplied her with something that harmed or killed her, that could be reason for the supplier to cover it up.

I found a very good aerial photo of Sandra's house which provides an excellent view of the neighborhood. It appears to have been taken earlier this year when the house casting the previously referenced shadow to the Sandra's left was on the market. Note that this shadow house is not actually on Spoffard Ave, but on the street behind her house, on Milford Street, although it is a neighboring home.

Sandra's house is the one with the propane tanks in the rear. This is confirmed by the white house to her right, which has the tell-tale greenish mold on the side of it that you can see in the realtor photos of Sandra's house. The light-colored fencing on Sandra's property looks to be new, and I recall that when her house was sold, it was described as being only partially fenced. *click to enlarge

Thank you OnlyFacts, every possibility should be looked at. Until HarmonyE suggested it could have been an unintentional mishap followed by a coverup, I didn't even think along those lines.
I know I've watched too many Datelines but the number one person of interest is always the last person that saw her alive. But, that hasn't been true in this case. I wonder why ? I also find it interesting who is living in Sandra's house.

I know on 20/20 and Dateline they usually look at spouse, boyfriend, former spouse, former boyfriend etc when someone is missing. That's interesting to hear that it includes last person to see someone which I hadn't heard before. I read on here a while back that originally it was said that a relative (not named or their relationship to SC) had dropped her off. Then someone said LM was very protective of hubby.

Thanks for posting this. Was she dropped off on that little road right in front of her house or is that considered her driveway? I’m trying to figure out where she was dropped that he didn’t see her enter.

I believe he said in The Vanished podcast that he didn't pull all the way into her actual driveway. As you can see from that photo, the road outside her house (I'd call it a "lane") is pretty narrow.

From this view it looks now like the front of her house is fenced in, not in full view of the neighbors? Not open to the lane in front. I mean her two doors are to the side facing the fence?

The dirt road that is in front of her house is on the opposite side of what looks like two trash barrels. The dirt road looks like it is pretty much covered in leaves. The back door is at the back of the house near the black car in the driveway. I think the front door faces the same side of the house as the back door.

I don't understand why he didn't pull into driveway when he dropped her off since her car wasn't there, then once she cleared his truck, he could have backed out onto dirt road. That's what I would have done but I'm not him.

The front of her house is not fenced in. Her front door faces the road. The neighbors across the road are very close, in part due to the fact that road (or more accurately, the lane, as someone referred to it) being so narrow and also because her house is situated so close to the road. I don't recall how the house across the lane is situated, but the windows you see in the photo look directly towards her front door.

Here's the realtor photo for context. Note the light colored house with the stuff on the siding in both photos. There is a a small gravel area directly in front of Sandra's house. In the pre-flip photos a boat was parked there. Note the tire tracks on it, which may indicate it was used to pull off or back out of her property. It's short though, which is why you can't see it in the aerial photo. Her house is blocking the view of it.

The front door faces the dirt road (Spofford) but you have to turn left to walk down the stairs so you are actually walking down stairs in direction of driveway; at bottom of stairway you have to turn right to walk out to Spofford. Neither one of SC doors face a neighbors doors so there is pretty much zero chance you would see or run into a neighbor unless you were walking or driving.

I saw the woman today and I got pictures, at I allowed to post here? What should I do with them?

Did anything ever come from this? I found it interesting two different ppl on here reported perhaps seeing her panhandling. Heard her case on the vanished podcast and it always stuck with me. Feel terrible for her loved ones. Prayers

Especially if she used the side door and parked where the black vehicle is parked. But her comings and goings out of that driveway could be seen and or heard by plenty of neighbors.

But I can't stress enough how tight everything feels in this area. And while there are only a few houses actually on Spoffard, there are houses all around, kind of placed willy nilly. Even the aerial photo doesn't fully convey this sense. I didn't linger here at all, but my immediate feeling was that it would be a very bold move to attack or forcibly remove someone out of 47 Spoffard.

It does seem like that for sure. It would be hard to linger and stare and muse there. I'd want to though, but no place to really park and do that. Not that it would do any good, but try to figure the being viewed by others or heard, but you explained that perfectly.

Never heard of anyone having pictures of her. Why wouldn't the person who took pictures take or send them to LE with information as to where she was seen ?
