@Gracie2722 To your point #3, there is a podcast called Missing and Sandra is featured in episode 1. It's a full interview with her daughter and she talks a little bit about the nature of their relationship. In her own words she said "I put myself through nursing school. We were not that close until I had kids and then she started coming around more." I too wonder how one goes from a relationship where your mom doesn't "come around" to one where you manage your mom's finances to the extent that your name is also on the deed of her house and you arrange for her car repairs. It seems like there must be some new circumstance in the mother's life that would necessitate this, but whatever it is (if anything) has not been shared.
To your point #4, some other relatives spoke at Sandra's vigil, including her son in law. But no one else has done official interviews with reporters.
5. If I remember correctly, most of the sex offenders in that area had crimes against children, not adults, so it's kind of less likely that they would have been involved with the disappearance of a 54 year old woman, but having said that, I feel pretty confident LE would have checked into this. In the podcast mentioned above, Sandra's daughter explains that people were writing her letters accusing one particular registered sex offender who lived in the vicinity but police cleared him right away.
