Completely off subject, but I was just thinking about how odd it is that there aren't really any recent photos of Sandra. The main photos they have of her are from her daughter's wedding in 2015 and her driver's license photo. The daughter saw her multiple times a week because Sandra babysat them and the son's hobby is photography.
It seems that the one long standing relationship SC had was with her father who passed away in 2018. You said the son's hobby was photography, did you mean son-in-law ?

I believe Sandra's daughter addressed the lack of recent photos in her sit-down interview with local reporter Bob Ward...she said kind of ruefully that her mother "didn't love the camera." Sandra may have been self-conscious about her teeth because I noticed that in earlier photos her teeth show when she smiles but not in the later ones.

SC was a caretaker. She raised a family, cared for her elderly father and cared for her 3 young grandsons while her daughter and son-in- law worked. No reason for her to just disappear. I think LE would have requested recent pictures.

I just read an article from the Boston Herald dated October 3, 2019 in which they interviewed LM. I don't know how to provide a link. LM said "there may be evidence that a struggle took place in SC Hanson home", but did not elaborate. She also said "I think my mother is dead".

LM also addressed this in both of the podcasts that she participated in. She says she believed within about a week of the disappearance that her mother was no longer and she described this like it was a feeling in her bones. She told LE at the time that it was her gut feeling, not an evidence-based knowledge.

The "evidence of a struggle" in the home also refers to the bed slats being lifted up and the sheet being off the bed, which LM has always felt was suspicious and talked about from day 1.

IIRC LM mentioned my words/description bolded about a closet looking messy but it may have been because she was still unpacking from the move, but could it be where Sandra kept her overnight bag and she rummaged around to dig it out for her stay at Ts? Did she pack a few things earlier in the day before she left for mechanics or possibly when/IF she returned? I don’t think any of my loved ones would have any clue what pieces of my clothing were missing or even if a travel bag was gone. (TBH though I have a LOT of clothes) I know the clothes she was wearing that day and shown on CF video were not there.
I am still just stuck on why T when asked if Sandra was with her she acted surprised and answer “no, why”? MOO

I came into this forum after SC had been missing for a few months so everything I learned about the case was from this site. I only recently (in past week) Googled Sandra Crispo and read Boston Herald article. As soon as I read on here) about bed slats and mattress out of place and missing sheet, I immediately thought it sounded like the bedroom was a potential crime scene. Dotrat, who is the person you are referring to as T ?

T is a cousin of Sandra's who was interviewed in the podcast The Vanished.

Thank you Yemelyan, I thought it might be the cousin with whom SC was supposed to spend the night at her home with on Wednesday August 7, 2019. Since SC didn't have her car, did the cousin drive up to pick up SC ?

Kudos to you folks for keeping this thread so active. Love your commitment, though wish we could get some answers.

From information in the family's interview in the podcast, it seems like Sandra and T. had informally agreed that Sandra would spend the night at T.'s house (which was a frequent occurrence). However, Sandra was supposed to call T. after the mechanic to confirm the plans. I'd imagine that this would involve T. coming to pick her up since the car was in the shop, as we know. However, T. says that Sandra never called back so she figured Sandra had changed her mind and she didn't really think anything much of this (as no firm plans had been agreed upon). Information shared in the podcast also indicated that it was not uncommon for Sandra to not pick up phone calls when she decided she just needed her alone time, so apparently her family and close friends were used to sometimes not being able to reach her and for her to change her social plans in favor of solitude.

All of this info is from Sandra's episode of this podcast: Episodes — The Vanished Podcast

Lol. I read your profile Spider92, it says Spider 92 was last seen viewing forum missing persons, 3 minutes ago. A little humor, picturing your avatar doing that.

I get it Yemelyan, that SC sometimes needed her space like we all do at times.

Yeah, watching 3 kids under the age of 5 can leave a person feeling "touched out" and in need of space for sure. It seems she was always a person who valued her alone time.

3 kids under the age of 5, who require constant supervision and can be a handful for anyone. A 54 year old grandmother who lives a quiet normal life disappears. No sign of forced entry, robbery not an obvious motive. Could LE be looking at this as a crime of passion ?

Sorry I did t get back Thanks Y for responding
Her cousin T did say in the podcast that she was supposed to/going to pick her up so we know that they had that part planned out but AFAWK no time was mentioned so MOO the pick up time was what T was waiting on from Sandra but that call never came. I was just thinking how when she was asked if Sandra was with her, Ts response was like the idea of her being there was not even a possibility, it was NO, WHY? I find it curious is all. MOO

Thank you Dotrat for response. I agree about T's response to question.

Dotrat, I just listened to the podcast. SC's sister Linda called T the cousin and asked "Is Sandra with you ?" The cousin replied "No, why ?". That is when Linda told her that Sandra was missing.

An additional observation is that the clothes SC was wearing on Wednesday August 7, 2019 were missing which leads me to believe she never changed to go to bed. Possibility that whatever led to her disappearance happened between the time she got dropped off around 5 pm. and 10 pm. Just MHO.

In the pod cast the narrator said the last outgoing call Sandra had on her phone was at 5:30 pm to T. In the pod cast discussion group the moderator of the vanished repeated that in a reply
