MA - Worcester Man Kidnapped 7-Year-Old Girl, Threw Her off Bridge, 2017

Sounds like she was only missing about a half hour.
So he basically took her, strangled her and tossed her when you factor in her swimming and walking time. So bizarre...
Maybe he had other plans for her but something freaked him, making change his plans and get rid of the "evidence."

Bravo! to the amazing, strong, determined young girl for saving her own life. What a swimmer!
This young lady may bear watching -- no telling what she might do as a smart, brave young woman!
And so glad that her parents and family still have her with them.
Now for justice.

JH was found guilty of all charges except the rape charges 15 minutes ago. Jury has been deliberating since Tuesday. No MSN covering this case! The Worcester clerk returned a phone call to Attorney Melanie Little (guest) that jurors were back with a verdict.

I don’t even want to ask why her father’s DNA showed up in her underpants.

Hubert was convicted of two counts of attempted murder, strangulation or suffocation, and kidnapping a child, records show. A sentencing date has not been set.
He was acquitted of aggravated rape of a child while bound and aggravated rape of a child with a five-year age difference, according to court records.

Hubert kidnapped the girl from her grandparents’ Worcester home around 2:30 a.m. on Aug. 27, 2017. He had earlier attended a barbecue at the house, where he was a familiar figure through his friendship with the child’s father, according to law enforcement officials and relatives.

Hubert took the girl in his car and drove around for 90 minutes, authorities said in 2017. He then stopped his car on the Interstate 290 bridge, which connects Worcester and Shrewsbury, and threw her into Lake Quinsigamond.
