Hi Mom
RE:.you can find clues on SM.

His sm was riddled with drinking and then drinking a bit more ! His SM was laiden with issues about girls--(confusion, anger, frustration).. His Sm had longing to be buzzed. There were very few pics that did not have alcholol in them . Its called euphoric recall check it out (link earlier ) .

Poor guy --being in a place filled with triggers, bar, birthday ( hey lets drink its your birthday it is a trigger like New Years, T-Giving Wedding ) , gma dying, seeing his father, lots of stress.

No matter how we try to figure it all out - the only thing we do know - is his chocies and behaviors that evening were unique and now he is gone.

Family acknowledged early on he struggled in school and had issues.

Troubled family system IMO - we got what 8 family members (the two male cousins) not one mention of a bio mom

that is huge info to me--- its like she did not exist - the only way for, IMO, a bio mom being so gone is that there was some intensee stuff within the family system only moo But the vanished mom meant much to me ...........................

Like the whole thread since the beginning only speculating and trying to piece this bizairre deal togehter. Lets keep trying to figure out what this is!

It is just bizairre--and ya know what ,most people dont get what we get ---it is just really weird,....

- I dont know anymore than anyone else just trying to understand how this happens and frankly what is worse , that is until this , I had no awareness of the fact that this has been "going on" for some time. With MO's are amazingly scary

lets keep trying to sort it out , but we do need a bit of help from cops

Not only are we frustated (matters the least) but I think it must be horrible for family to notice after three days that cops and mnedia really seem not to care all that muc h that horrible

You would have a field day with MY sm!! Not to mention my kids!!

The alcohol and whatever else you are alluding to on his sm...all normal for a social/average guy his age. Hard to believe, but true.

HI

Nice post - I am being Edgar again! I think suicide I think he was clean for a bit, that night was a relapse, his gma died,school/work pressure--but most gma. The plan was ,like 8 hours after he vansihed (dont know timeframes) but the plan was to do his cake --sing happy birthday, and then go to gmas house and then toss all her stuff

Talk about overload

You're hopeless Edgar. He just turned 21.
He partied many weekends according to friends from work.
So this was not a "relapse" .

People get sad when loved ones die...

My son Matthew ( in my avatar pic), was practically addicted to the MRPG Call Of Duty, as a teen, people judged me for his spending a lot of time on line.. But guess what? He was fine. That was his "normal". They don't say much now lol!

All four of my boys have had sad times, some have partied throughout their twenties.
my second youngest likes tattoos and heavy metal. (Hate for someone judge our family "system", by his Facebook! ).

If anything God forbid! ever happened to one of my babies. Lord have mercy on someone suggesting suicide! I know my children. They may have hard times, but they are in it for the long haul. They grew up in the Fitchburg/Leominster area. I see a lot of them in Zach. We are made of tough stuff out this way. You will see

I have learned so much on this thread about SM. It has quitly validated my notions. I just ,when going through his stuff , am totally lost.

What is their thought process, I want to take a picture of this beer bottle or half eaten sandwhich. It was amazing to me - kinda scary these folks are gonna be running the joint at some point,.

Humm I wanna take a picture of my left sneaker, and then it gets retweeted. What is going on here.

You have 4 kids so I am going to assume you had a portion of your life without all this nonsense.

Did you ever have an urge to take out your Polariod camera and take a picture of your knee?? And think that anyonbe would be interested in a picture of your knee!!

It was just odd to me , not that they are doing it, they all are, just the thinking that goes on before taking it , my friends want to see my left eyeball, here is a lightbulb I bought, look at my fries of McDonlds

It is the thought process before taking the picture that is so bewildering to. Selfie, go look in the mirrir lot less work !!
Go read a book !!!

i remain clueless!!!

I tend to agree. I enjoy beer and post about it often but that is just what I chose to show, doesn't mean I drink every night or that being a setting like that would be trigger situation. I thought his cousin said he only had 3 drinks at the bar

Can't compare my generation to my kids. We were so different. In so many ways.

I know you are baffled by "this" generation. The generation of sm, iphones, snapchat and twitter...but...this generation has many many brilliant minds. Many giften neuro surgeons that spent a multitude of hours playing video games which helped with dexterity (no joke! This is true). Brilliant computer scientists that started playing on home computers. I could go on...but you get it.

I get a kick out of most of the SM stuff. And the stuff that I find inappropriate....gets deleted ASAP....nobody wants to pizz off the queen!

I like hearing the stories out there. YOur being nice tongiht better than last night! That hurt my feelings!! I have no issue with differing opinions-- actually isnt that why we all are here

This one is more complicated - because it is hard to ctorgize. We all have done terrisim , we know the "why" We have done plane crashes - but we know like what is - a plane crashed into the planet,

So our beginning point is somewhere ansered.

This has such a sad (Edgars is back) feeling to it. And I guess from my career, its like more heartbreaking.... cause suicide is very rarely spontaneous- there are years of stuggling NOt to complete successfully.

BUT if that what this turns out to be, he had to walk , in the last moments of his life to go somewhere to end it. But that final journey is awful. Putting a gun is two seconds.

There is something so moving here, angerin g LE, whatever troubles his family had - how would any of us feel (its not like its been three months)if ignored.

Last night I searched in the last 24 hours Google not one thing. I think that is gross I do , that is abuse to the family. Do I think we all know outcome however it happened yes, but geezz LE and media at least pretend you care or something. Insult to injury. A 15 sec slot on your newscast.

A press releasae - we continue looking whatever , its been nothing and then I thought ok its monday get something nothing

but what is most disgusting is that great piece cog posted last night, is this is exactly the same MO Boston has done on all of em .

Thats m essed up.....................................

CARIIS, are you ... Ok? you seem a bit ... I don't know.

tell me ! I am frustrated and pissed off at LE, and dont get how they get to do this. We pay them. I wish you would tell me I seem ...what

I am fine with feedback, and when you asked it was for my head , ok fair your getting feedback so I ask myself what am I .

Pissed. With all the stuff we do on stories, its frustrating when they come out on pressers and say we wont answer this or that fine................but to do nothing say nothing

I think we are all seasoned to know this may take time to find the body. But a week out let us know you are trying

pissed is it

I do thank you for asking!!

that is funny , very intuitive through a keybard to sense that. Would you by therapist. Trust me therapists need a therapist more than one on the earth!!

How much do you charge !!

We are the crazest people roaming the plantet, but as long as you can make sure that your stuff is not interfering with what you are doing thats how it.

It really good settings, I have gone to my clinical director and told her I need to (family) transfer them , they are triggering my stuff (bed wetting as a child ), and the best way to handle it is to be stright up (they could personalize it ) explain (I am human) and I have a collegue I want you to work with.

There were others its a good thing to have insight when you can "catch" yourself and know and do something about it for your pt. We all are hum an!!

My puppy just found a wonderful roll of paper towels, I now have shag carpeting!!

I don't think it's fair to say they're doing nothing, LE does a lot behind the scenes

LE may be building a case against someone, or trying to flush out info. I am surprised the media isn't more active on this. In case he was abducted the story should be spread all over. I've seen more sharing on FB than the news.

I've lost the context of the post I wanted to respond to, but..

He may have had "only" three drinks, but that is more than enough to impair judgement. Hypothermia causes mental sluggishness and impaired judgement. He was out in brutally cold conditions for at least 20 minutes, more than long enough to develop hypothermia in those conditions. I don't think we can count on his intelligence and good judgement to have taken him out of the cold.

Zach wasn't lost in the wilderness. I doubt he huddled somewhere and died. There was help all around him. He booked it down that long stretch to the other side of Boston Market. That cemented his fate in my mind.
Kid was really moving!

(Thanks to cdogs exellent detective work, and pics!).

This kid was raised in an area that rivals some of Boston meanest neighborhoods, he was not from Harvard, originally.

Already tells me he's a survivor...

(Fitchburg/Leominster area is known as the Twin cities. It's one of those places where people "end up usually due to some unfortunate circumstances. (" when I win the lottery, I'm gonna move to Fitchburg/ Leominster! said no one ever!

Zach was from Leominster which is seen as
a tad less... corrupt...but just by a hair, I would say. In fact Fitchburg is often refered to by locals as, "The City That Crack Built". (Ironically, the most famous city landmark is...a giant rock!. I kid not. The Rollstone Boulder). Sorry, I digress...

I think he met up with someone on the other side of Boston Market who was evil, and I don't think he ever made it back. Jmo

I think he was booking it to try to catch the last bus or train.

I wonder where he got on the train to come in to Boston. It doesn't run to Harvard so he would have had to go to Fitchburg or Shirley (or maybe as far as the Alewife). Did anybody check for his car there? Does he have a car?

Dad is quoted as saying he dropped him off at the Littleton T

That makes no sense, (booking it to
catch the train), when his group was due to come out of the bar in minutes. He was going after something, or he would have just waited right across from the Bell In Hand.

I think it's excessive in his case. Definitely enough to set off warning bells for me. If I'd known him I would have worried and stepped in.

My daughter went to school with lots of serious, heavy partiers who were budding alcoholics. If not already full blown. His SM looks like theirs.

Not that it's uncommon. Unfortunately it's common and troublesome.

Thanks, had not seen that about his father dropping him off.

No further comment on the train. I find it plausible, you don't, no big deal.
