Imo hypothermia likely hit him before he got to the water.

I wonder if hypothermia is is part of the reason he headed toward the water

I know his grandmother died, but grandparents die. It is NORMAL to be sad at the death of a loved one. I don't see that as a reason for him to kill himself and yes, I know I am not in his head. JUst saying that it is normal to feel sad, but not necessarily suicidal at 22 ONLY bc of a grandparent's death . (imo)

does it all fit in with this: the area of 125 Nashua St. in the early-morning hours of Feb. 13.

Yes. Picture 5/20 is the boat landing at the end of Nashua Street Park, with the 125 Nashua Street building behind the photographer.

Ten minutes in that cold would feel like a very long time. I wish he had stayed by the door, but he may have started walking to try to warm up. He missed his cousins exiting. He lost track of time IDK what . It is just so sad. and imo preventable. He is dead (or it seems likely given what we've heard from the video). His life is lost. So he doesn't die in vane, (sp?) the only good that can come of this is that it doesn't happen to someone else.

The bar in the Munsell lawsuit is about half a mile from BIH. It stands to reason that BIH is aware of the lawsuit, when the same identical thing happened to Zach in their establishment .

IMO BIA is being very careful here

From 45 Union St, Boston, MA 02108

To 21 Broad St, Boston, MA 02109

I'm sure they're aware, and also that they're being careful, but proximity is coincidence here. Half the bars in Boston are within half a mile of the BiH. Central Boston is a very small area, roughly circular and a bit less than a mile and a half across. The BiH is roughly in the middle.

I have a question????
Was he seen on the Bridge and then later seen walking into the water Under the bridge?
This is very confusing.

It is confusing! This statement probably explains it best, though I'm not sure exactly what he meant by disappears into the water.

Matthew Marr, Zachary’s father, said police recently contacted the family about the grim footage, which shows Marr on a walkway, and then walking on train tracks before he disappears into the water.

In vain - without success or a result.
And no you are not ad nauseam LOL - you never are. That phrase only refers to rehashing old topics repeatedly and is not personal nor is it derogatory.
No one is nauseous. Sorry if my frustration made it seem that way.
Still looking at news to come soon! In my heart of hearts I think that something is known but ducks need to be in a row before they jump to the mic.

One more thought on that, I think he was on a walkway and then walking on train tracks and he fell through one of those gaps on the track.

Hey

Imo only I think we might need to view gma as mother role . There remains weeks in absoutly no mention of a bio mom. Nothing. Half a month in. That is unusual.

I think gmo, has been surrogate mom for him for some time.

He was a kid, I wonder if, for, some folks viewed it as changed his mother recently passed away, whom he was vervy very attached to and very upset about, if that might not give more clarity.

If we continue that line of thought (surrogate) and said the plans were , the followimg morning the family was to go to his mothers house and discard her life- that has far more impact yes? He was a kid.

"Stressed.....but Happy" data there. Out alone , in dark, scared, lost ,(dont really know if people go to bars on their birthday, not to drink so possibly buzzed, things can look pretty bleak.

In the frist several days, when the call between, him and dad I felt a very distressed event in him just sitting in her house doing nothing. that a a poignant, devasting visualization, just moo.

From the third day, I felt a very distressed kid, with lots of a back story, missing.

Im confused too.

Look at the pics. It's very clear. The "walkway" only goes half way across, so he hopped up onto the railway bridge to go the distance, only he didn't make it because of the gaps.

Dont judge a book by its cover ha!!

This was really good lots, of infomration about drinking, drowning, questions, disputing smiling theory while also giving it possibilites.. Unlike Fox, he was fair and balanced!!

And did give rise to new thoughts about Zach- its not neccarily a sit and watch, you can do it like a radio show - not much to see but much to learn and contemplate!!

Relevant to Zach

Only did part 2 - part one was more focused on Smiley - but the second part branched out !

minnesota and Wisconsin have had a very high rate of these incidents, just passing along !!

Snip

According to reports in The Boston Globe and other local media, footage from a video security camera shows a young man walking on the train tracks to the trestle bridge that leads over the Charles and then disappearing into the water.

Snip

According to close family friend Andra Athos of Finn Road, the family believes that reports about Zach’s disappearance have not put enough emphasis on the critical role of hypothermia. Temperatures were close to zero, and he did not have his jacket when he left the bar for what would ordinarily have been just a few minutes.

Snip

Matt Marr calls Zach’s disappearance “100 percent a tragic accident” with no indication of foul play, Athos told the Press by telephone. And, while police divers continue to search, the floodlight will stay on until Zach is brought home.

IMO important. As it relates to a lot of these situtions.

It is widely accepted that the decomposing bodies of animals and humans

produce a variety of alcohol byproducts as they undergo putrefaction,

including ethanol, the manufactured alcohol typically found in intoxicants.

decay can often serve to confound coroners

Medical Examiner or Coroner condcluding cause of death in these complicated "drowning" series of events??

Now would it not be fascinating to find out in these cases if one or the other to determine cause of death ---an elected person (yuk!) OR a highly qualified forensic doctor - especially on bodies that have been in water for extended times

A medical examiner by definition is a physician ... In most cases, they are trained to be forensic pathologists... and are appointed to their positions.

To be a coroner, you just have to be able to be elected to the job. You've got places where the local feed store operator is a coroner..... in Washington State who's a farmer, who's the coroner of his county.

More than 1,500 counties operate under a coroner system, where qualifications and expectations vary, according to the National Association of Medical Examiners.

  • Kansas, Ohio, and Louisiana require coroners to be certified forensic pathologists.
  • In Nebraska coroners are often also the county attorney.
  • Indiana and Wyoming require completion of a basic coroner-training course and some additional annual training. An 18-year-old made headlines when she was elected deputy coroner in Jay County, Ind. while still in high school.
  • Colorado state law encourages its coroners to have training in forensic death investigation methods, but it's not required.
  • North Dakota requires that coroners be licensed physicians, but only in counties of more than 8,000 people.
  • Georgia requires that you be at least 25 years old, have no felony convictions, have a high-school education and complete a week's training course in death investigation before you take the job.
  • In Wisconsin and West Virginia, non-physicians can serve as medical examiners.

Lots of thses type of cases were in minnesota and Wisconsin have had a very high rate of these incidents

so Wis:
non-physicians

County coroners, the origins of which date back to medieval England, are slowly disappearing in Minnesota.

“When you look around the country, there have been such egregious errors in forensics
