Yes Scandi and I feel certain the culprit here never dreamed that this abduption would reach this magnitude. Kids go missing all the time and unless you live in the area they were taken you seldom here about it. This reminds me of John Walsh's son. And look what good came out of that! A TV show where criminals are posted and profiled AND in MANY cases captured!

I agree. Way too many chidren are snatched worldwide for such evil intents. ......and I woul like to add those that simply go unnoiced by the hundreds if not thousands for child labor, sex slavery, etc.

<truly hope some good comes out of this with all the international attention and awareness.

And above all hope Maddie and all other missing persons return home safe and soon !

Here is a link to the attempt to kidnap a little blond haired girl by a Moraccan man that I referred to in an earlier post. Not really a link but interesting none the less:

Snippet
"has anyone read this on the sun site A HORRIFIED mum told yesterday how a stranger tried to abduct her blonde, blue-eyed girl just a short drive from where Madeleine McCann was snatched. Portuguese Lina Santos said: “When I saw Maddie’s photo I shivered. She is so similar to my daughter Carolina. They are like doubles.”

Lina and husband Abel believe the man who tried to lead Carolina away was from a MOROCCAN community living near the cafe they run.

Just a week ago another woman said she was “99.9 per cent certain” she saw Maddie, four, with a man at a petrol station — in MOROCCO.

The revelation came as police . . ."

keep repeating the short interview-if you want to listen at link. police interview i just heard is at 6.30 UK time.

Sounds like masive media events are going to slow down according to TH, unless new info comes forth. Perhaps updates once in a while.

Nede to go back to work...:)

I think that dispels the rumor that they knew they were being watched.

Actually what I heard (and I had to watch it three times to catch the whole thing as my internet connection dropped out twice) was that they did not notice anything but if even if they had they of course would NOT be allowed to talk about in case it hurt the case.
