I guess the person whom saw them ruled out it could be any of the suspects already questioned? Or the Dad? You're right though, it's too ordinary, could be half the town.

This is a horrible crime and I don't mean to minimize it one bit, but I wonder why this is getting so much media attention. Aren't children kidnapped every day from every country? Why is this one so special? I'm just curious.

I recently went on vacation to the Atlantis in the Bahamas. I can tell you that the description of the man released today carrying a girl fitting madelines
description fit hundreds of men I saw with theire children at the resort I was at. Sandy haired four years olds in there dads arms, on there shodlers and wallking with there dads is an ordinary site to me. WHy is this man considred suspicious?

Maybe they are trying to link it to other evidence they already have?

I personally think the Portugese police are either:-

1. Working slowly but surely .

2. Putting in an appearance now & then to covince people they are
actually doing something.

Me too.. and in the article I read this...."Detectives are also waiting for the results of forensic examinations."

I wonder what they are examining, why it has taken 3 weeks to examine 'it', or does it take that long for 'results'?
