I at first imagined the Tapas Bar was much closer to their room and they may have even had direct sight of the entrance to their room... the map you just posted truly blows my mind. How these parents can open their mouths to defend themselves is beyond me!!!

Top that off with the dad saying "we've had a busy week" WTF?? "Busy"?? How about ' a week from hell' or 'it's been a nightmare' or the last week has been devasting' BUT he says 'busy' ??

When we traveled and our kids were still too little to stay up late enough to join us for meals nearby hubby and I would either get a two bedroom suite or a room with a large patio so we would sort of have our own little place to stay up and either pick up food nearby or call in room service, we were NEVER away from any suite without our children. I am truly blown away by anyone making excuses for.

Boy the restaurant is much further away than I thought. Looks like a long walk to me. You know at alot of these resorts you can even hire cooks to come into your apartment and cook for you. That would have been an option I am sure.

This is all such a mess and Maddy's parent are looking very negligent IMO. I just hope that from an investigative point of view everything is being thoroughly looked at. Although because not a lot is coming out I am finding it hard to have much confidence in LE. Why were surveillance tapes not looked at immediately? Why was an immediate cordone not thrown over the area, with police doing routine stops.etc. I think we are never going to know and it is soo sad and just wrong.

Reading over the last posts, I find even more inconsistencys, the door was never locked, but some say it was jammied open which one is right. The sighting of a man carrying a child who is so much alike Madelaine, has this been investigated further, what the hell are the LE doing over there, what is being published by the media has been published before but changes everytime. Have we had a statement from the LE, havent seen one, so none knows what has or has not been investigated, it is all presumptions. Do we know how many are on this case, NO, what are the facts.

The trail is created by a series of silent transmissions sent out by every mobile phone even when not in use. Each signal is picked up by masts in the area which creates a timed computer log of the handset’s movements. By measuring the strength of the signal received by various mobile telephone masts the area the location of the handset can often be narrowed to an area as small as a few square yards.

Yeah, it is much further away than I ever imagined,too. What were they thinkin?
I laughed when I saw the scetch of the man with the child...that is just ludicrous.Surely the witness can do better than this. It is a pic of an egg with hair. What an absolute joke.....Well, it would be if a childs life was not in jeopardy. I cannot get over all this....

Sounds hopeful . Lets all hope that this works...The murders of Jessica and Holly was truly sickening...I followed that case and it broke my heart.

Whether the parents harmed Maddeline or not they are still guilty of endangering her.....the twins should be taken off them and they should be apart and under house arrest.
It gets harder and harder each day to have any sympathy for these neglectiful self serving so called parents.
This case makes me so angry and guilty or not the parents make me sick.
