Trying to find a link to Gerry's early posts on his blog. Official site only shows last few days.

ON that board someone said that Gerry wrote in his blog that K McCaan worked 1.5 days a week (and I now see the latest skynews link referred to her as a parttime GP), watched the children the rest of the time and very often had her mom fly in from Liverpol to help Katie with the three kids on the weekends. Theory of poster=no nanny

Grandma was only quoted as saying there was on, yet no media has outed her!

Does anyone recall reading this on his blog or have link to his early writings? Trying to confirm this.

TIA:blowkiss:

Lol I was just trying to link to his early blogs which were at one time available for viewing..........now that makes me wonder also:waitasec:

I know, I keep bringing it up as I know some reporters read these boards. Someone should have the balls to get and give the answers that could shed any bit of light on this case. There ought to be Justice for Maddie.

Popped in to see if there is any more news about Madelaine......NO.
The stories Im hearing about the parents is getting more outrageous, Kate only worked one and a half days, and she needed help to look after her children when she wasnt working, unbelievable, I wonder how she will cope looking after two. Seems strange, very strange.

McCanns 'blamed' for failed search for Madeleine
By TOM KELLY

The parents of Madeleine McCann were said to be very upset yesterday after detectives appeared to blame them for the investigation's failure.

Officers said Gerry and Kate McCann had dealt a potentially 'fatal' blow to the hunt for their daughter by accidentally destroying crucial evidence as they frantically searched their holiday apartment in the minutes after the four-year-old was discovered missing.
In their panic, the couple allowed two dozen people into Madeleine's bedroom to help and they contaminated the scene by touching furniture and opening and closing doors and windows, police said.
... {R}
Chief Inspector Olegario Sousa told Portuguese newspaper Diario de Noticias: "The presence of so many people - especially in the room where the little girl slept with her brother and sister - could have at least complicated the work of the forensic team.
"At the very worst they would have destroyed all the evidence.
"This could prove to be fatal for the investigation."
The comments, which follow sustained criticism of the police investigation to try to find Madeleine, were said to have "dismayed" the McCanns.
A source close to the family said: "It's insensitive at the very least. Of course the family are going to search the apartment.
"If your child goes missing, you search under the beds, in the wardrobes, behind the doors, everywhere.
"It's inevitable that there were people in the bedroom. Even if what the police are saying is true, it's very unhelpful to say it publicly."

I'm beginning to wonder if the McCanns' decision to stay in Portugal wasn't really a choice for them. Maybe LE told them to stick around because they (the Portuguese police) know things about Madeleine's disappearance they can't release and suspect the parents have a hand in it.

Have been thinking pretty much the same thing.
It seems strange to me that all those people who were in the room after Madelaine disappeared, they should have had enough brains as most of them were professionals that evidence would be destroyed by all those people, its just little snippets like this that come out which make me think the parents have more to do with this than they are admitting.
Were all those people fingerprinted so they could be excluded, thats if none of them were the culprits, I would like to know what was done with the other friends of the McCanns, were they investigated. This just seems to get more stranger as time goes on.

colomom:-
Gerry and Kate McCann would have used the patio doors as they checked on their daughter and her twin siblings during their meal near the Mark Warner holiday complex swimming pool and it is these doors that were left unsecured. The McCanns and all their friends on the holiday left their patio doors open throughout the evenings for fear of fire.

Mr Kirby told The Mail on Sunday: "I had a very interesting chat with the officer in charge. The window shutters are not an issue. "Their mechanism makes them almost impossible to open. The door was left unlocked. They did that every night.

It seems most likely that Maddie left the apartment on her own accord and someone nabbed her in a crime of opportunity. Three year olds often wake up and ask for a drink of water in the middle of the night.

I had no idea there was a whole clan of parents who were so neglectful.

I keep getting an error message when trying to get to this link. Can someone give me the subject matter, title or date so I can try to search for it on their site? Thanks.

Hi Taximom--still works for me.;)

TITLE AND RE: Madeleine abducted to order by internnational child sex gang

Hope that helps.

I've been led to believe that the twins had "cots" (is that a crib over there in the UK?) on either side of the bed, so technically Madeleine was in the bed by herself.

Cot = Crib, yes.

I hadn't even thought of that!! You could have a very good point there.

Kate went to check on the kids at 10:00 and ran back to the restaurant screaming, "They've taken her". Not "I can't find Madeleine" or "Madeleine's gone".

This REALLY bothered me. Why would she assume an unrestrained child had been "taken" rather than wandered off to look for her parents when left in an unfamiliar hotel room?

I'm not sure fingerprinting the rest of the adults in their group would do much good except to exclude someone who shouldn't be there. Even without everyone trooping through the room after Maddie disappeared, it would seem that they were probably in and out of each others' apartments. I did hear somehwere that LE claims there is one source of unidentifiable DNA in the room. But it just as easily could be from somebody who works in the resort.

From today's skynews--16 June Saturday

Day 44: 'Faith Severley Tested'

Updated: 07:04, Saturday June 16, 2007
<H2>The parents of Madeleine McCann say their Catholic faith will be "severely tested" if their daughter is not found alive and well..............SNIP

This almost made me laugh. Apparently, the parents are going to threaten God with losing faith if he doesnt' return their child.

It seems to me that God would care more about the life of a little girl than whether her selfish parents have enough faith to see them through this crisis.
