The McCanns look more and more like the Ramseys every day.

They sure do. But I think we have even less to go on in this case since we don't know what happened to Madeleine.

This is an excellent post. It raised the fact that the McCanns agenda seems to be selling the story of Maddie . The problem with this is their is no story. We do not know what happened to Maddie. The story they are selling is one based simply on conjecture. That is not a story but a theory and theories are meant to be tested to be proven or disproved. In this case the parents do not seem intrested at all in the proving of their theory. Their whole focus appears to be raising funds by selling their theory. They have placed selling the theory as their mission statement as opposed to finding Maddie, which is what it should be. This has turned many people off and made them suspicious of the parents. Personitly it makes me sick to my stomach and makes me think that in this case the lack of effort to prove or dissprove their theory is indicidive of the fact they either allready know its a false theory or all they care about is money .

Excellent post mjak, this case has turned around and is all about Gerry and Kate McCann, if they write a book it could only be about them as we know nothing of Madelaine, how selfish and arrogant of these parents to make money on their missing daughter, it makes me sick.

It is really hard to be civil here, there is so much more Im thinking but unable to put down in words as I would be banned. The parents need to be dealt with, they have committed a crime, child endangerment, so charge them, whether Madelaine is safe or not should not have any impact on the arrest of the parents for the crime they committed.

If I was pleading with the kidnappers I would first, look at the camera (not at Gerry) and second, I would speak for longer than 10 seconds.

MA, I think this is from the first couple of days after Madeleine disappeared. I remember pictures of her eye being distributed very quickly, and the "Look For Madeleine" slogan using it came out early. She's been world-wide news for way over a month. But it certainly doesn't hurt to be reminded.

Yeah, I think you're right because Snopes had Madeleine added a while back.

While I think it is a good idea to put the money into children who have disappeared campaign, I still think the McCanns are working on keeping their profile high in the media and not Madelaines. What is happening the the search for madelaine.

If you check out the news in the Madeleine website, look under Wed. July 4 for an article titled "Backlash After Madeleine Ad Is Pulled" about people negatively responding to theaters removing the video appeal from showings of Shrek 3 in the UK.

Notice what they didn't mention- that many parents were upset about showing this video and frightening their young children.

So I guess it wasn't enough that the McCanns were neglecting their own children. They're trying to tell the world how to raise our own children.

Some of the posters in other forums are even speculating that the P-LE have had her in safekeeping for the past week without telling the world, trying to rope in her kidnappers. Or that there is going to be breaking news about the case within the next couple of days. We'll see I guess.

As far fetched as it sounds I hope it is true, but where did this information come from and what evidence do they have to suggest that this is the case.

I think this is speculation off of one of the Sky news articles that was originally translated from the Portuguese. It loosely comes from the article explaining that P-LE believe Madeleine is "back" in Portugal.

Madeleine McCann's family believe a new picture of the missing four-year-old could play a vital role in the search for her.
The photo of the youngster shows clearly her distinctive right eye, where the pupil runs into the blue-green iris.

No, I don't believe it either. I mean how stupid! If Madeleine was found safe and sound, everyone would be so excited and grateful, not to mention the P-LE would want to announce her rescue to the world.

At this point if she is still alive which I doubt it really doesn't matter as long as they get her back. Unfortunately nothing can be undone the McCain's will have to live forever with the pain that they have caused Maddie. Dead or Alive whether they killed her or were negligent if they truly don't know where she is I'm sure they just want her back abused or not. I think everyone would have a huge problem if they said we want her back but only if she hasn't been abused. Everyone here knows the reality of her being found alive and if she's found alive the reality of her not having been abused during her captivity is well let's just say have a better chance leaping into outer-space in a single bound. I find nothing sinister about that quote it sounds quite normal to me. Just a mom who wants her child back no matter what. I don't know what the McCain's involvement in Maddie's disappearance was but I think the dad knows more than the mom. I wonder if dear old dad who can't spell his child's name correctly, or hire someone to spell it correctly for him, may have arranged the whole thing due to some finical problems and set up the "fund" as a means of payment for Maddie. Just my thought sometime the people who appear the best off are really the worst. I have also wondered if this could be an extreme case of munchausen by proxy. Just a thought

I see the funds for McCann limited have now topped 901,000 GBP or 1.8 million USD. I only hope that the Mccanns will contribute to a ransom for little Margaret Hill, if one is needed (as found in previous articles).
