Shazza,
I agree that it appears that the search of Murat's was not to "nail him" but to clear him. I think they need to be sure that all thier bases are covered before presenting what may be the case of the century. They do not need to have an attorney asking, "did you search the property?". Know what I mean? They need SOLID evidence, even if circumstantial, if they are to go forward with a case (that this looks like) may be presented.
While my heart breaks for Maddie, and I know if it is confirmed that she is no longer with us, I will feel sorrow beyond what I have felt so far. And I was a complete basket case that first week, I could barely function. I cried so hard. I felt like she was my baby and I wanted to protect her and save her. Sorry, I get so emotional about this, it just floors me.
The little girl in Belgium was described by two people who are very familiar with children (a child psychologist and a waitress that caters to families) as being about 5 or 6 and Maddie was always described as a wee litle thing, 90 CMS? (I don't know, I don't do math) but small for her age and she is only 4. Plus I read a report that they said she had blue eyes. Maddie's were more green. I am not confident. Plus it has been over a week since they had the DNA to test, sorry...results should have been in by now!! Especially with a high-profile case such as this.
I need to call it a night, I am exhausted...and HUNGRY,
I will check in with you all tomorrow.
Prayers for Madeleine...wherever she is I hope she is in the arms of an angel.
