Yes I have considered that Amaral is implicated, but there is a good few names that I can’t rule out at the moment.
I haven’t went back over his statements but I have read about the Joana Cipriano case and it’s mo that the mum & the Uncle were set up my Amaral, similar to the way he cast suspicion on K & G, whilst trying to deflect from what was really going on under his nose which I have no doubt he was aware of. Whether he was part of the ring, receiving underhand cash payments or protecting Portuguese tourism, Im not sure. I think the s**t could be about to fit the fan for him somewhere down the line of this investigation, hopefully in the very near future.

I could go along with this to a degree. I was aware of an organized paedophile gang working from Faro. Maybe she was bound for the US but because of her eye condition made this now impossible.
She was transported to somewhere nearer. Maddie's potential as a child for the rich was scuppered.

I don't know, I think if she was wanted an eye patch, as kids that age sometimes have them so not unusual, and a dark wig or hair up and hat on, boys clothes etc, many ways you can change how someone looks?

Very good question. Women only said NF picked them up at 1pm. Woman's grand-daughter was friends at school with NF's daughter. As rule, invitations for weekend parties are done before Friday at school, that is before bank's failed deposit.

Brückner wasn't at the party and NF told women he was the father.

It's a bit complicated because NF was suspected of having committed two separate thefts.
One theft of 6000 euro and one of 100.000.
The best thing would be to watch the S9 report.

There's a problem here. I have checked "Sexta às 9" and they clearly said robbery and party were on Nov. 1, 2007.

FYI: That day was a national holiday in Portugal.

I think they talked about Friday and Sunday (Nov. 2 and 4) in other parts, so they may be mixing up dates.

ETA: in a court paper @32.16 it's written NF bought the mobile on Nov. 2, 2007 so they're mixing up dates and party was on Nov. 4 indeed.

But you must remember this child would grow up..she can't be in disguise forever.
Her eye defect would always remain. The kidnappers took this into consideration.
