One born 2009, another 2002 and another before 2000?

Yes, I noticed that, that's why I asked - so there could be more candles on that cake after all - have a look and see what you think?

I count 5 (but she looks older).

The first time we heard of NF and Foral, the reports were from neighbours stating she had her own 8 year old daughter at the time she was looking after LW.

ETA - Sorry, I didn’t answer your question. I genuinely don’t know the dates/years her children were born as they’re innocent and I’m not so invested in them. I only paid attention to this girl’s profile because Sexta9 stated NF was known to be in Portugal from 2003, whereas if she is NF’s daughter, they were in Portugal a few years before that.
Knowing when the party was helps with the timeline of the theft, sure, but that’s not why I’m here. Sorry!

I can also see five in this photo, but I’ve never seen a birthday cake with candles in a straight line; they usually circle the top of it.

Maybe NF does candles in straight lines, Betty. Easier to extinguish perhaps.

Totally possible of course, Mendel. But zooming in on the pic, each candle looks a similar distance from the edge of the cake. If they went in a straight line we should be able to see more cake in front of the candles in the middle. The two candles at the end make it look like there is some circular pattern going on, and you wouldn’t just put candles in a semi-circle and leave half the cake without. I think there are three candles we can’t see because of symmetry.

<modsnip> Thursday can’t come soon enough  lol

I guess you can be right. Now the middle candle seems to hide a candle not yet burning.

I have checked again and it is not sure that the J birth date was November 4.

I find it gruesome to simulate a children's birthday party.

I notice the girl in the pic is dressed up. Do Germans/Portuguese folk celebrate Halloween?
Halloween themed birthday party on Nov 1, a few days before her birthday, because it’s a national holiday so everyone would be off school/work? I wondered what was up with the weird, black, barely blown up balloon-looking things that were hanging off the washing line.

Fork handles?

Surely a child at that age would be confused about it and innocent enough to mention out loud that it wasn’t actually her birthday but they were having it on this date because of whatever reason?

The reason is quite obvious, Betty...

I don’t see any fork handles but who knows lol.
I did, however, see this...

ETA - just noticing another video clip is about to come over this one, so that’s probably why. Doesn’t look like a VW anyway.

Maybe CB was der Vater of the eldest? Perhaps that's where the long term connection comes in between the two and NF was being a little truthful when she declared it (CB being the father) albeit another one of the children? Who knows.

Betty your subtleties don't stop to impress me. So perhaps it was worth the while discussing candles before Thursday.

Pity. Not what we were thinking about...

Maybe that was a van used to carry children to party.

Can’t believe I’m getting involved in this one, but it’s a quiet Monday so here goes....

It’s not unusual to have a birthday party on a day other than the actual birthday. Could even have more than one eg one with friends (usually not on the actual day but an organised affair on a non working day) and another with family (more likely on the actual day). So I don’t think we should get too hung about the timing of this. (Or at all really....!)

It seems to be a drone photo so I can’t imagine it’s from 2007, who would have reason to picture the property back then from a drone? Probably a pic specifically taken for the Sexta9 report so more than likely K+O’s minivan. We know K has grandchildren, O has nieces and nephews, and between them they’re raising a mini zoo of dogs and sheep.

Thinking aloud.
Assume NF invited the victims to J Brthday party before going to the bank to do the failed deposit.
So it would not be a plan to leave the house alone ...
