Yes they were, but HB may not have been vulnerable, ok she was a little,but she could have been in to kick boxing or martial arts, I don't see myself as vulnerable but a knife at my neck would for sure make me. sadly these perves pray on the most vulnerable and as we know sex crimes are often not about sex at all, power and control seems the turn on, but Imo they were random sexual preferences, serial killers or abusers mostly have a fantasy of their victim. This person would be thought of as their “ideal victim” based on race, gender, physical characteristics, or some other specific quality.

Re SM car being being vandalised with the word speak, it is my opinion this was done by some angry local/locals who believed SM knew more about what happened to MM than he was letting on & perhaps wanted him to speak to police & reveal what he knew.

It bothers me than JM (RM mum) in her statement in pj files she says that during that night of 3rd May she heard no noise or strange movements of people. Media articles now from 2007 ,She said: “Robert was at home and I’d driven to the local Baptista store to get some shopping & When I was heading back past the Ocean Club at about 8pm I saw a woman standing on the street corner near a lamp post staring at the flat.
“It was unusual to see a woman standing alone. I didn’t recognise her and don’t have a clue who she is but it seems a bit suspicious. If she is important to the policy inquiry I hope they find her wherever she may be.

“Officers here never questioned me about her, I suppose they had other leads initially to follow up.”
JM in 2007 also spoke of the car driving the wrong way down the street. Surely her recollection of the night MM went missing was far more vivid in May 2007 when she spoke to the PJ than in May 2017? So this leads me to think either she told PJ in her interview in 2007 about purple woman & car driving on wrong side of the road & PJ have chose to take no notice of these sightings & left them out of pj files OR she was too frightened at the time to reveal what she saw OR diversion tactic due to progress in the investigation?

I agree the car vandalism was a vigilante act based on supposed accusations at the time. Whoever wrote it believed, for whatever reasons, that SM knew something about MM. I haven't seen any proof yet to show he did however.

Another thought that had crossed my mind...... The 72 year old rape victim, did she speak out of turn? Eg to the police or even just local gossip about some of the goings on in the area? Perhaps she hit the nail on the head and angered CB or someone associated to him & the attack on her was to teach her a lesson and ensure she kept her mouth shut from now on? Maybe JM knew her personally & had an idea of why the attack happened. Again this is just speculation and could be way off.
