how do police and investigators, who have to see the evidence, manage to keep of sane mind?

you cant unsee and unhear what must be some absolutely horrifically evil content.

i dont think i could do it for a day.

edit: i cant see many people would want to see the media..so how do they limit its exposure?, even to investigators?..are there designated 'viewers'?..maybe those more resilient (less empathetic?)..

or do they just fall in a heap with PTSD after a while?.

CB 'sold' the VW to BP in 2015 and it was used as a family vehicle. The only way this new neighbor 'story' sighting of the VW in 2017 is true would be if CB still had use of it 2 years after he had sold it. And then somehow the VW made its way back to Borrocal where LE eventually impounded it.

The VW, up until now has never been placed in Germany.

ETA from same article, narrows it down to being the first half of 2017 that CB would have been in the current search area.

Or a pedo den? It was at the kiosk that CB's young friend hung out with him. It was only recently that this 'friend' was sentenced himself for pedophilia charges. This might be part of the reason for the current search.

IMO a little bit too early for online registrations. But you could always give a third party a permission to register a car on your name at the time. No need for you to go to the office in persona.

Everything has been scanned and digitalized. So you can see, if someone came himself for the registration or someone with his permission.

L.E must have checked this! IMO impossible to be in PDL in the evening and the next day in Germany to register a car. They have pretty unflexible opening hours at these offices. And i drove to middle of spain from germany many times in the past non stop. No way!!!

To add, this 2017 sighting is the only sighting of the VW since 2007/8, other than when it was impounded by LE in Borrocal, Portugal, by this time it had cartoons drawn on it.

A signed mandate and a copy of his ID/passport would be enough to registrate a car by a third party. I've done this hundreds of times in the 2000's for my boss, by working at a truck-rental as a student.

Yes, could be toilets, or could be observation tents, but then why would they pitch them 400 meters away? The police van looks like it has some kind of scanning equipment on the roof:

There are many very high trees (so they are very old) in the photo whereas there are none in the map.

They've had psychological training Tim - all part of their initial and ongoing development.
They would have access to counselors too if and when they need them.
