Ahlem Concentration Camp and War Tunnels. Is the cemetery that Betty spotted in the pic of the van in the field, the War cemetery?
Could the van in the pic be for geo observation equipment?
Map below.

There's a cemetery somewhere nearby. Look, Ted (credits to @Juliet Bravo)

RM - It may have been RM who CB called on the night of MM.
If that is a prison van at the scene yesterday perhaps it is RM?

Can we confirm that it is indeed a prison van?
Do you mean the young RM?

Can someone please explain to me why spot B in the map does not match the spot where the tents have been placed?
Why is it assumed that that is the same spot?

Because Spot C is there at the lowest circle, as i mentioned before. It's a cemetery called "Stadteilfriedhof Ahlem". It's not the war cemetery, that has mentioned before.

From sky news ..... "The local paper here this morning is reporting a neighbour who says that Christian B did live here in a camper van with two dogs around 2007, some time after Madeleine disappeared in Portugal. Also "It is a 26 or 27-hour road journey from Portugal to here. So make of that what you will."

Ever seen the 2009 Peter Jackson Movie 'The Lovely Bones' this is starting to look like the sequel in the making.

I read the book even before the movie was made, and she tells her story from heaven. Heartbreaking. But yes, it gives a similar sense of what people can do in these accessible bunkers X

So in this it says they have put up a tent and now concealed the area, pics on this link show this, not looking good, it never was going to be a good outcome sadly, I just hope we are not looking at a Fritzel type scenario

Is there an innocent reason for a tunnel? Also, is it an allotment or a garden? Different interpretations - presumably translation issue. The public presence of an allotment makes this seem implausible.

One neighbour was said to have recognised him from the photo, and recalled seeing his yellow and white VW Camper van, which German police last month appealed for information on.

They added Christian B was often seen with the VW at the allotment where he also had two dogs and where he had often rowed with locals.

The suspect is said to have been living at the site in around 2007 or 2008 after returning from Portugal, Haz.de reports.

Had a look around Spot C. Maybe 2 stone coverings of the old tunnel system? Don't quote me on it :)

Great to have this info confirmed by reports.

2007? Finally starting to make a lot more sense.

Would it be easy for CB to know there was a WWII tunnel under his Kleingarten?

Thanks Superdad, but what I mean is: spot B in the map, is not the same spot as in the photo with the tents!
Can you see that too? Where are the very high trees in spot B in the map (or perhaps I really must buy new glasses :))?

Quite. I think the tunnel is a red-herring.

If MM was transported to Germany. What vehicle was likely used??
Because amongst the reported sightings of MM (of which there are hundreds.. from every Country in the world). A man (Andrew Pucci or similar name) reported his sighting of a little girl at a service station, 15km South of Hamburg. She was in the company of 2 German men in a Minibus/ with campervan. interior. Burgundy in colour with blacked out windows. He reportedly saw her 2-3 weeks after MM disappeared. I read this in the Aspensos Volume of the PJ Files from late May 2007. But there was also many, many vehicles reported on too so would be good to know exactly which model to search for. I have always believed that the answers are already in amongst the files somewhere.. bear in mind, there are hundreds of Missing Pages X

If CB changed his Jag's registration on the 4th of May in Germany, then he must have driven all night to Germany with MM in his car.
He might not have changed the registration remotely.

Good point.

I believe so. Especially since there was allotments there.. whoever owned the land would need special permission with regards to what can and can't be done on that land.. in the UK we call it planning permission. For instance, if a tunnel were beneath a farmer's field, the farmer would know about it X
