One case concerned something very specific: the vertical supporting beam in the house used by CB in PdL. This will not have changed until today - unlike the furniture - because it is a static element. The police said that in the video material found (from the old box factory) one of the victims (no details about age and gender were given) was tied to this supporting beam.

When the pictures of the house were shown on TV with "Aktenzeichen XY", the BKA representative did not say that they suspected a connection with MM. Rather, the point was to ask possible victims who remember the interior of the house to report to the police.

We know that women often - if they escape such rape halfway unscathed - do not go to the police out of shame.

Did LE actually state that the video material you refer to was found at the box factory or is it just an assumption? Not doubting what you write, just wondered about the use of brackets.

It has been mentioned here that LE may have found some video evidence connected to CB in the major pedo-ring, darkweb, busts in Germany, but so far there is no evidence of that.

The 3 known of videos that were among the stuff 'removed' from the PDL farmhouse while CB was in prison are unrelated to the above? I think it was reported that there was the US woman, a woman roughly the age of HB and also a younger female 15-20 yrs. These files were supposedly destroyed.

Here, the supporting beam is particularly emphasized and addressed by Christian Hoppe, Chief Criminal Investigation Director at the BKA in Wiesbaden - and shown from two perspectives. It has been specially highlighted with a marking arrow.

Also - probably with good reason - special attention was paid to the sofa in the picture.

After this Spiegel TV report it became clear to me why the BKA had pointed so insistently to the beam.

I've been trying to work out if the Barranco VW image was taken before or after 30th March.

The screen cap doesn't seem to show the elongated dent above the wheel arch. This would suggest that Barranco image was taken after the 30th March 2007

However, looking at the state of the fuel cap area on the screen cap I would say the opposite and that the Barranco image was taken before the 30th March

The low res screen cap doesn't make it easy to ascertain if the dent is there.

This is just my opinon, I'm sure others here are a lot better than me at analyzing this sort of stuff. It would be nice to know for sure if it was before or after, not exactly sure why yet, It would just be nice

The only clue I can find on Málaga and Barranco pics that may allow relative dating is that thing above rear bumper (a guide?).

You can see it's intact on Barranco's but it seems damaged on Málaga's. So probably Barranco's was taken earlier than Málaga's unless he repaired it.

Anyway, I'm disappointed Málaga pic is dated March 30, 2007. Even for drugs hypothesis, I think it's unlikely he would give such a lift with drugs inside IMO.

Doesn't seems too straightforward to me that they be on Málaga's port though. But perhaps that's simply because previous lift was from someone who left to Melilla. Or just because that's easy to find by outsiders and has lots of parking.

ETA: notice they have just amended the headline of the story no longer says he Wins appeal, but still has a source claming the arrest warrant was illegal. Think this is premature reporting, not clear what it's based on.

Due to a legal opinion of an advocate general, the arrestment of C.B. was lawful. The court likely follows the opinions of their avocate generals.

At least I didn't except to determine precise location in Málaga's port. I think it's somewhere between those yellow pins. They're not very visible because I had to downsize image, but they're around image's center.

With the darknet you bring me to a completely new thought. Thanks.

But I think it's unlikely that any footage of or from CB has been found there already. If not mentioned by the police anyway, this would surely have been leaked to the press.

I mentioned the box factory to make it clear that - at least at the beginning of June - the public was not aware of any other location of paedophile/pornographic pictures and videos apart from the one under the buried dog. (And to avoid speculations about Hannover or Braunschweig. No finds are known there so far).

Whenever the police or the press spoke of CB incriminating material, it was related to the one near the factory.

The video material or possible storage media from the cleared house in PdL are, to my knowledge, all destroyed: The ones showing the rape of the 72-year-old woman by CB's two buddies, everything else (although we don't know if there were any "offensive" things) was destroyed by the neighbour during the big cleaning operation.

With the reference to the darknet, you give me an idea. However, in connection with the current investigations (paedophile rings) here in Germany CB has never been mentioned. Whether the investigating authorities have found something about CB in the darknet, however, is possible. But he seemed to have moved quite uninhibitedly in the "regular" social media (FB, Skype).

Nevertheless I will investigate the matter.

So the ruling seems to be that the regulation about not being prosecuted for a different crime to the one in the warrant does not apply in this instance because he left Germany and was arrested in Italy under a different process
