I just checked some geman laws, that are likely similar to the european rules.

The limitation period for human trafficking in germany amounts up to TEN years. So it doesn't surprise me, CB's entourage is talking to police by 2018 and further on.

IMO they gave more info to L.E., than the possible confessions of CB. Wouldn't surprise me either, if there has been some kind of business including CB, MS, HB, MT.

But now they can talk without being charged of some possible crimes in the past. That could even fit to FF's desperated statements.

HB is a human trafficker, it would not surprise me if he was involved in part of a plan to take MM? If they were really offended by CB I think they would have gone to the police earlier. They seem to be making money from crime and I think at some point the need for money surpasses their moral compass. They have no issue stabbing each other in the back because they only look out for themselves, they probably think they can get suspended sentences or use CB as the fall guy to get away with it.

This is exactly what I was thinking Super, I think this crime was a step too far for some, and now they are older, some now with young children of their own, with their own misdemeanours spent, they act on their own guilt at not speaking up earlier. The German LE seem so sure, and I’d be surprised if this was only based on the statements of this bunch, IMO they have something to support their testimony like the hair in the rape case

Very true, I just was not sure on the purpose of the transporting, if it was just transporting or if he was trafficking them. My mistake! Still, I think to be friends with someone like CB for a long period of time with the jokes and statements he makes, boasting about crimes and showing videos of rapes you have to be a certain kind of person to be his friend. Hopefully I'm wrong and they're all just being moral and have a guilty conscience about what they know!

If I was a policeman I would probably know that the dogs are just pointers for the forensic investigation to be performed on their findings. I would also probably wait for the results from the forensics services.

CB appears to have been rewarded, which is inconsistent with a planned operation being a failure. He's a liability, though, because he keeps getting caught by LE committing lesser crimes, thus risking attention being drawn to his more serious criminal activities & the associated hierarchy outside Germany.
