I'd like to see evidence connecting CB to one murder before buying into any of this serial killer stuff.

I am not sure where we are getting at. How did this serial killer stuff emerge? We know CB committed all kinds of crimes. We know BKA say that they have evidence CB killed MM. can we please get back to that discussion? It appears we are being sidetracked here.

Agreed

Linking him to other crimes based only on geo but without any actual evidence is pointless.

I think the ball is in HCWs court now.

We just have to wait and see if anything happens

So ... How can we know FOR SURE that MM killer is not here among us (or in any other forum for that matter) ? Unless he is CB and he is in jail without computer can we know for sure that MM killer is not checking the progress that people and police are making in cracking the case ?
And what would the murderer get from that? We haven't cracked the case. For all we know, the only member actively 'protecting' CB is you. How do we know you are not CB? with all your rumblings and insider's knowledge as you project, you could well be CB. How do you have all this insider's knowledge and why as a Portuguese are you interested in German cases?

Absolutely. There's been twenty-two threads here based generally, on speculation. Let's wait - and hope that 2021 will bring something new to the table.

We are working with a very broad canvas of places, people and times, and at times someone is focused on a particular detail while someone else is taking a big picture approach.

I actually think there's been some great sleuthing and theories on this case across the 22 threads. Very valuable contributions made on photography, maps and topography, psychology of the offender, intruder scenario deductions based on HCW statements etc, info on cadever dogs, translation of court documents and foreign media reports, legal insights, local knowledge, and just common sense detective work based on the known facts. Mostly made in a spirit of collaboration, thoughtful debate and good humour considering the darkness of this whole matter.

We can only read between the lines while we await the next move by LE, but like it says up above - this is Websleuths :)

Perhaps you can answer your own question by using your special 'methods'?

Would like to go back to my theory, that the MM case could have been a chance find of BKA, whilst investigating child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 rings in the last two or three years.

BKA published some very sharp pics of used cars and houses, that seem to come from drives, maybe consficated from the suspect himself, like the beach van pic or/and the daylight pic of the van in front of the fence.

According to the pics from the inside of the small building CB seemed to have inhabited until his conviction in 2006, the quality seems a lot more low and also as they are stills from a video or pictures, and that footage has been taken by making another picture of a screen, maybe not to reveal the original metadata or something like this.

I could even imagine, that the hosters of that vile sites/or servers in darkweb will be aware very soon, who downloads and saves their footage?

If that is the case, it could fit my theory of existing CB-footage in darkweb and producing footage for "special interests" to make money and satisfy own needs.

They could already point out to HCW's conclusion of MM being not alive anymore and CB is the perp.

So maybe they were able to relate some IP's or nicknames in the darkweb to CB's clearname as an uploader. But the final evidence would be the original tangible footage with a link to CB's wherabouts, so the production of that footage by the suspect becomes provable, not only the distribution.

IG went missing on 2015. That "chat" that was publish about CB wanting to capture something small was "captured" back in 2013 as he was been investigated already by that time. Also it's not clear if the chat was over the Darkweb, as there are sources claiming it was a Skype communication.
The stuff that was found on CB allotment - pen drives/memory cards and little girl swimsuits were NOT a direct result of IG investigation; there are some "confusion" on the media. It was related to other crime like drug dealing. CB was "profiled" over IG case back on July 2015. To be more precise On July 23, 2015, a so-called trace file was created for Christian Brueckner, based on information from the Braunschweig police (goes without saying that Stendal prossecuter Thomas Kramer is the one leading IG investigation but the request was made to the know place of living of CB - Braunschweig) . Findings on CB allotment were on 2016 and the search was conducted just because they have a warrant provided by the fact that CB was in other crime. They found six USB sticks and two phone chip cards there. Also on may 2015 CB did get in trouble by stealing gas from cars on the parking lot.
Not relevant for you guys as the outcome (for you guys) would still be the same. Data on CB was entered on IG process file but no relevant "link" was found. Meaning - whatever the BKA did get it was obtained way later.
Yes, at least since 2013 CB would already be a "person of interest" on MM case but just that - they did attempt to "interview" him.
Back on 2016 there was still no evidences/solid link to MM.
I will not go intro any details on this but i can assure you 100% (and take my word if you want to) that whatever they did get to claim that CB is the MM killer they didn't get from IG investigation/process files - and more I can't say.
They did get the info only 2 years ago.
"Also on may 2015 CB did get in trouble by stealing gas from cars on the parking lot."
Are two events being mixed up here?
2006 - stealing diesel in Portugal
Early May 2015 - trouble involving a friend's car in Germany

Back to the jaguar, as I mentioned several times, but no one came up with an answer.
The day after mm went missing, he signed it over to the biscoff guy, and I presume he would of just signed the log book to his name, then several days later turns up in Braunschweig, having towed it, and the police now have this car, is that correct??

Detailed information about the vehicles:

Vehicle 1: Jaguar XJR 6
Color: dark red / aubergine
Registration: The last known registration after the date of the crime was with the city of Augsburg.
Location: The location of the vehicle has been clarified.

I agree... hear hear! :)
It's been very interesting (their isn't really an appropriate word to use in the context) to read and occasionally participate in these threads. Some great sleuthing and very respectful compared to other discussion groups.
Wishing everyone a better and a Good New Year!

Sorry to interrupt and I should have asked this ages ago, how do you start a new post with just a quote from a previous post?

Press the 'reply' then you can answer/refer to that post.

If you just want to quote a portion, highlight the text you want and you should get an option come up that says "quote". Then go down to the message entry window and there should be an option to insert the quote.

It just appears to be repetition, but it's still making the news

I always guess they do this if their website viewing figures are low and they know if they put out something MM related..even if just repetition ...it gets some hits..
