Just going back to the T7 statements again and how things seemed to evolve (JMO) re Tannerman, I thought this, from DP was interesting......

Re. the Ibiza Airport picture in June 2007.
Could the man on the left be Christian Manfred Kruse, the German citizen recently arrested in Bélan, Paraguay with a said connection to Christian Brückner? The other picture is one of the last photos of Madeleine in Praia da Luz, taken by Neil Berry.

I haven't seen or heard of this before, is it new?

Have seen that pic before with bearded man and child...was it not supposed to have been taken in Brazil ?...will have a read about it...can't remember if was previously discounted or not..

It is not new, Lilly. There was confusion at the time. Initially it was claimed to be in Brazil, but it actually was taken in June 2007 at Ibiza airport during a bomb scare. It is said that the girl strongly resembles Madeleine.

If the case (and it's an interesting thought), would that not then mean that the German strategy has been a smoke and mirrors one from the start? That naming CB publicly in the way they did was just a means to a different end?

Well...if you have evidence that somebody knows about a crime, maybe because he frequently has been boasting around about, but you know that he isn't cooperative so far, why not using the strategy to put just him in focus? You know what i mean?

Blaming a possible accomplice to be in charge of everything could lead to more clues, what really has happened. Maybe that could explain the whole year, that has passed by?! Some nutshells are harder than other ones.

Maybe they let him stew until he is going to talk. Could explain the unusual timeline and HCW's focus on the british media?!

HCW knew that, specifically, UK Media would name CB, something forbidden in German Law.

Perhaps HCW's strategy was to name CB, say he murdered MM, pressurise him so that CB would tell all he knew, having NOT murdered her - (scapegoat scenario, so CB would say I didn't do it but here's what did happen)

I wish we had more info arghhh, don't really know what HCW is up to and I'm starting to doubt everything again!

They've been investigating him for what? 7 years now!?

Not really. IMO since 2017.

There are also reports dated 2012 of another separate “ sighting” at Ibiza airport ..

I don't think it is possible to absolutely ID that child as Maddie. She does resemble her--but it could be a million other little girls. IDK

I agree. At the time it was said to be odd to see such a young child with two ‘unkempt’ men.

Yes, but then again, I am in California---it is not unusual to see long haired, hippie types with young children. So I guess it doesn't strike me as that odd.

And they were at an airport. Full of cameras and ID's were necessary. Seems like a place to stay away from if you had a kidnapped child with you.

Would be interesting to find out more about the kruse guy, what he was up to in his native Germany, before faking his own suicide and leaving in 2010

Interesting podcast (only playable via pc), that contains a one hour interview with HCW about the last year and a small view into the future, without promising too much.

But a interesting explanation about the work of the media in this case. Unfortuneatly just useful for german speaking members or members who have the possibility to translate. Please excuse, that i neither got the time at the moment, nor the leisure for making a transcript.
