‘I don’t know if he came late that night and parked his vehicle outside and slept in there, and left that morning again, or he did not turn up,’ she said.

Think it's pretty clear what CB's supposed alibi is now.

Madeleine McCann suspect was 'obsessed by pre-pubescent girls' says his ex-girlfriend | Daily Mail Online

Yes,. And so that's where he said he was, alone in his car or van,. Sounds like a planned alibi for himself,. Wonder if she was the person on the mobile, cos CB phone was pinging in pdl not Tomas/Tomar

Moroccan hashish is definitely getting to Russia. He could potentially have driven to Belarus or Ukraine and sold it there if he made such contacts in Portugal.

Or he had his own runners ?

If MWT is right that the alibi holds up, we would expect to see his phone hitting cell towers on the way. If he was in Luz by the time of the 7.32 call however, he had enough time.

Some further info about the guy from the Staufen-complex. I would bet, that he was CB's chat partner.

"...A cell search revealed ten pages on which L. described in detail kidnappin
So the bloke you're dating says that.....
'he liked small bodies of women and he liked the bodies of girls before they reached puberty,’

I don't think he would needed to of said it,. You would pick up, by how he acted, and we know he had young girl friends

I think when he had money, he invested it in hash, either sold locally or transported it. I don’t think he had enough money regularly to make a career of it.

Paedophile suspected of abducting Madeleine McCann had worked at apartments where she vanished, documentary claims

According to this article an (anon) witness said CB worked for a company who carried out repairs at the OC and he had 'repeatedly carried out repair work'.

CB said in one (of a series of bizarre letters to the program makers) that he wasn't caught selling drugs as he stuck to some key principles, like driving a battered VW as not to attract attention, sticking to certain roads, if possible driving during the day and never provoking the Police.
“So, that means not committing any crimes, certainly not abducting anyone.
“Having said that, this was just as absurd to me at the time as starting a nuclear war or slaughtering a chicken.

When asked about the BKA findings CB said he can just relax, sit back and wait to see what BKA has.

That could explain why some of the OC workers had his telephone number and why he might target OC over other apartments. It could have given him the opportunity to take the keys. Looks like a huge missed clue by PJ.

SAT.1 investigativ - Vermisste Madeleine McCann: Der tatverdächtige Christian B. äußert sich exklusiv in "SAT.1 investigativ: Neue Spuren im Fall Maddie"

Christian B. had precise local knowledge of the Ocean Club in Praia da Luz: Before Maddie disappeared, repair work led him repeatedly to the facility from which the then three-year-old disappeared in 2007. And: An on-site analysis of the radio cell range showed that Christian B. and his phone must have been a maximum of five minutes away from the Ocean Club on the night of the disappearance.

'In an exchange of letters with Jutta Rabe that lasted several months, he insisted on his innocence. In 2007 he worked as a drug dealer in the Algarve, but: "I was never caught by the police because I stuck to a few principles. If possible, only drive during the day so that my battered 'hippie bus' doesn't attract attention, only drive necessary routes and most importantly, by no means provoke the police. So don't commit crimes, certainly not steal people. At the time, the latter was just as absurd to me as starting a nuclear war or slaughtering a chicken."

And further: "I see no reason to comment on the allegations made by the Braunschweig public prosecutor's office. In principle, I could sit back and relax and let the results come to me."

So he admits to selling drugs? But so as not to be caught selling drugs he kept a low profile by not stealing people?! And slaughtering a chicken is absurd?! This is what he compares abducting a child with?

I haven't read that the OC had an external repairs dept, certainly not in PJ files, maybe they did have for certain jobs or if there were staff shortages?

The only external company I can think of that serviced the OC is the swimming pool maintenance company.

If the story can be verified it would seem to put an end to the tabloid conspiracy ideas that he had 5A under observation though? Of course an insider could still have tipped him off about burglary opportunities for the evening.

But he is freaking out and doing the exact opposite...

That old chestnut - admit to a “lesser” crime so it makes it look like you’re being honest in your denial of the other.

His other gf had dinner with him the night before - was that in Tomar? I somehow doubt that... otherwise she would have said that she was with him 200 miles away in Tomar the night before. Not only it doesn't stuck up but it appears he lied about his whereabouts in May in his 2013 interview... jmo

It was a typo. It is indeed Tomar. It has been corrected.

So he cleaned pools at the OC and the OC has not commented! Why was he then not interviewed from PJ as someone who worked at the OC???

Fall Maddie McCann: Brückner reinigte Pools im Hotel, aus dem sie verschwand!

I suppose it depends when he had worked for the pool cleaning company.
I thought that the cleaning company mentioned in the PJ files (MW husband) didn't have the contract in 2007? (If this is the company)
I'll have a look.
If CB had worked as a 'contractor' in the past and not an actual OC employee that's probably why he wasn't interviewed at the time.

"From memory, he began servicing the "Ocean Club" tourist complex in Praia da
Luz - Lagos, between 1998 and 2000, not remembering precisely the exact dates.
--- It was his client until his services were dispensed with, he thinks because
his wife Michaela Walczuch having been ill (later being determined that she was
pregnant) and having failed to maintain the pools several times, having been at
home. The person who had contacted him, the person responsible for that service
in the "Ocean Club", was an employee named Silvia (he thinks that she still
works there). She had told him that his services were no longer required"

P.J. POLICE FILES: LUIS ANTONIO HUSBAND OF MICHAELA WALCZUCH 14 MAY 07
