The buttock-tattoo-issue is crucial. If he has no tattoo or birthmark around his
chocolate starfish area, it's a big clue he didn't rape HB, even if she just saw a bruise from a former burglary on the "climber". So they have a speacial modus operandi like in the DM case, but a statement from the victim, that is likely able to rule him out.
There was a distinctive mark on the top of his right thigh, which was either a pull in the tights, a tattoo or a birthmark, she added.

there are videos of him in tights from the box factory I think... so not unknown of him wearing tights.

not good enough reason to exclude him imo!

and amazing how fast PJ excluded him again - within 10 days they had opened up the case again, investigated and closed it again! wow, super efficient!

here it says that not only did he clean pools, but that he owned a business !

"B., der in Praia da Luz ein Pool-Business betrieb, soll laut Informationen von «Bild» im Ocean Club die Schwimmbecken gereinigt haben."

"B., who ran a pool business in Praia da Luz, is said to have cleaned the pools in the Ocean Club, according to information from the "Bild".

of course no mention of when this happened. is there any more information as to when he could have 'owned' such a business? Are there officials files with every business registered in Portugal as you have in the UK for example?

Further, this article mentions that the rape of HB is expected to go to court in the spring.

In one letter, to be shown in the TV documentary, Brueckner writes:' I was never caught by the police because I followed a few key principles.

'Where possible, only driving during the day so that my battered 'hippy bus' didn't attract attention, only driving on the roads I needed to and, most importantly never provoking the police.

'So that means not committing any crimes, certainly not abducting anyone.'

It's such a peculiar rationale he gives here. He's saying he wouldn't abduct anyone because he wouldn't want to draw attention to his other illegal activities. Makes no sense. Especially given all the crimes and burglaries we know he committed and the things he boasted about to others. His antics in the Messines playground kind of undermine everything he is saying here too, he had gone into hiding, with an international arrest warrant out for him at the time and yet he has the 'urge' to go and do something like that that and gets himself extradited.

Driving during the day...although no sense, he had this notion and caution and maybe he avoided that that night. Walking to the van (Smithman?), not driving at night.

Right! He reveals that he is capable of doing everything because he knows, how to aviod attention. Big mistake imo.:D

he could not control his urges, that's for sure. these are all irrational excuses. he is just digging his own grave imo

Imo he started to dig when he decided to communicate with third parties by himself and took his solicitor out of the eqation that way.

That's what i meant with making mistakes, made whilst thinking to be untouchable. The fact is, telling the world to know how to play with the police forces is pretty dumb! What a narcissist!

Same with the "i can lean back and wait" statement. It's obvious, that he isn't that relaxed!;)

on NF and the supposed 'alibi':

Witness claims Madeleine McCann suspect was with her before and after disappearance - indeed, she says they were seeing each other at the time

The German witness, who was living in Portugal in 2007, believes Christian Brueckner was miles away from Praia da Luz in Portugal on the day Madeleine McCann went missing from a resort there. -- indeed, she said she was told by CB that he was in Tomar that day, coming back that night (about 200 miles away)

A source told the Sun: "She says she was not with him the day Madeleine disappeared but spoke with him and again said he seemed normal."

indeed she has said that she spoke with him

https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/witness-claims-madeleine-mccann-suspect-26029921

so it seems very likely that NF was the supposed alibi. But OMG how damning was her interview! is FF going to use NF as a defence witness if the case reaches court? haha, that would be interesting...

qs: where did the fling appear ? how did the half an hour away appear?

ETA: from MWT's documentary:

Christian B gives Mark a possible alibi revealing that he had a holiday fling with a German 18 year old girl the week of Madeleine’s disappearance. Mark tests this by tracking her down and speaking to her now husband.

Driving around small Algarve parishes in a huge Winnebago doesn't attract any attention whatsoever, of course...

Good point. Sending letters to the press, mocking the investigation with weird pictures & whining about the prosecutor resigning, IMO is definitely not a sign of a calm person.
He’s attempted to not get himself caught in a lie by not speaking for the prosecution’s statements. But he’s caught himself in a lie by saying he wasn’t robbing at the time.

His narcissism may be the final nail…

That's the topic!

His solicitor should have told him to shut the .... up, but he gives a .... about what he is being told. He is convinced, that HE is the smartest guy in the world. And whilst being convinced that his very smart and snappy solicitor isn't competent, he decided to take it into his own hands.

That's the reason FF should be p....d and why the case has gotten out of his hands.

It's pretty obvoius, that CB will reveal himself pretty soon and HCW just has to sit there and wait.....;)

What did MN's solicitor do when MN was sending letters to the media?
