How could that be.. Explain the mechanics of the situation. Do you understand what a patsy is
The Germans haven't been accused of setting up a patsy.

There is the unintentional death in 5A theory which would support this. It seems unlikely that a perp would take the risk of removing the body but technically it is possible.
An unintentional death fits better with a staged abduction than murder by an stranger intruder.

There is the unintentional death in 5A theory which would support this. It seems unlikely that a perp would take the risk of removing the body but technically it is possible.

These kind of abductor crimes often have 3 crime scenes

1. The point of abduction - e.g from a street or other place where the victim could be assessed

2. Place of attack - this is normally a secluded or controlled place where the perp feels safe - e.g in the woods or other place where there will be no one around

3. Dumping ground - where the body is subsequently disposed of, whether concealed or otherwise.

Frequently this all takes place quite quickly, as Harrison indicates. The victim might have been attacked in some secluded location, then dumped at sea all within 60 mins.

DBs attack on the American woman, and potentially HB, seem to have a different MO to this. i.e. he choses a crime scene where he will be able to control the victim for an extended period.

But maybe something went wrong. e.g. he did not expect the parents home (maybe they never did come inside 5a), or there was an unintended death.

Further to this response, the link below confirms what I mentioned. This snip (direct quotes) is from the article from June 2021.

Mr Wolters said; “ The probe into the Behan case is likely to take a few more months while the case of Maddie and the two separate cases of child abuse might take longer.

“We only have Christian B as a suspect in the Behan case.

“However, some information is missing which we are in the process of pulling together.

“We are working with the Irish and the Portugese authorities and it is taking a bit of time to get all the information we need.

“Once we have it all we will close the case.

“It will continue for a few more months but not three months as was previously reported.”

Maybe the forensics didn't come through on this one?

I don't really see what other evidence they could hope to gather all these years later.

I don't really see what other evidence they could hope to gather all these years later.

According to PJ records the first lot of physical evidence was thrown out in 2007 then the remainder in 2009. Something allegedly was later found though I am unsure what was kept . HB herself found one of her false nails still in the bed she was attacked on when returning to the apartment a few days later .

Again, there he is, setting himself up for another fall with his "Once we have it all, we will close the case."

Not 'Once we have it all, we hope to close the case' leaving open the possibility that 'having it all' may still not result in a charge.

Additionally, "a few more months" would suggest some expectation of a development in Oct/Nov 2021 but here we are now in Oct 2022 with Nov just round the corner (12 months later) and still absolutely nothing to show for it.

Circumspection is clearly a foreign concept to him. There is imo no evidence of 'method in his madness'.

I think how you can summarise it is by ratting their associate out, they gave the key break in the case.

IMO the testimony would be somewhat problematic on it's own, given they did not witness the rape, but rather claimed to have seen a video which could not be produced. But corroborated by the hair, and the victim testimony that the attack was taped, it is pretty strong IMO.

The problem regards the MM case, is they don't claim to have seen any evidence (as far as we know) - so its the classic crooks confession.
Going back to the reports of the alleged confession in a pub, CB never claimed to have killed Madeleine.

How do you know that?
It was in reports back in 2020, CB stopped short of saying he killed Madeleine.

The suspect drew short in his alleged confession of saying he had killed Madeleine.

Article also says CB should be charged in Madeleine's case by the end of the year. BKA have everything they need, including numerous witnesses, according to BKA source.
Well, that's good news Misty! Thank you! ;)

more from article:
Oct. 11, 2022

The German rapist, 45, could be accused as early as today with three further rapes and two child molestation offences.
[.....]
There are five different crimes in total and an official announcement will be made this week," a German police source told the Olive Press today.

"The trial will be in the Spring or early summer."

The charges have taken longer than prosecutors hoped, due to a combination of Brueckner's legal team as well as European bureaucracy.

Apparently a press release/conference today at 16h00. Perhaps Superdad can confirm this. It was said on German tv.

Two of the cases seem to include brutally forced oral intercourse including videotaping the scene.

Am i the only one that has to think about the little panikspatz-chat that included the "mm" anwer?! ;)

<modsnip: Quoted post was removed>

Charge #1 is interesting. Yet unknown victim but they know, that the rape took place in her holiday apartment, according to the press release.

How do they know that, if they wouldn't have got the footage of it......? ;)
