Fire tools are normally covered in black ash, can't see any present on the yellow stool.

I've had many horses and whips, they some in different thicknesses, lengths and styles and the straight ones always have a triangle or rectangular double stitched piece of leather at the end - Shame I couldn't post a pic of one I once had, very similar to the one in the pic.

Of course, you might be right.
Id say you are right Ted, it looks like a crop type whip.

I think a witness saw the video but the video itself hasn't been recovered.

JMO
I think they have the videos, and we have seen stills from them released to the media that we subsequently discussed at length on here.

It seems the 14 year old was the only victim in his house with the wooden beam.
Do you see a carpet on the BKA photo?
i am referring to MS words that CB said : don’t throw up all over my carpet.
i think to see one under the blanket?
For me this blanket on the floor near the beam looks like a crime scene. First I thought a blanket for his dog but obviously Charlie preferred the sofa. JMO

The photo could be from other sources, including CB himself. I would not assume it comes from the video.

I guess the purpose was to try to get the victim (or potentially additional victims) to come forward.

It does seem flimsy without the 2 complainants I agree.

I get the feeling we might not find out the evidential detail of these 3 cases for a long time, if at all.
I have the feeling it is better for everyone involved and especially these girls and women that we don't find out the evidential details. Jmo

From that are we to take it at the very least the McCanns and maybe many other witness from the night of 3/05/2007 and before are being or will be reinterviewed ?
@tedtink, all very well you putting a crying with laughter emoji to this quoted post, if the BKA could happen to place CB in Luz you don't think they'd be the bit least interested in the Tanner sigtings or the Smith ones ? or are you going for a slum dunk he was there therefore it was him.

You have far more chance of Lord Lucan being reinterviewed!

In the three indictments for the rapes there are three alleged crime scenes ,if the BKA go down the route of abduction front 5a, who's the witness to that alleged crime scene ?

Yes - in general I am quite happy for them to be restricted to protect victims (law enforcement may actually know who the victims are and they simply don't wish to cooperate).

I have little interest in these prosecutions personally - but this may mean we don't learn anything much of relevance to the MM case

I don't like the idea of trials being held in secret, which is effectively what happens if the media are excluded.

I quite like the idea of these trials being held in secret. The victims should be afforded dignity and privacy.
At least the evidence won't be picked apart, by some, for the next 20 or so years and new conspiracy theories formed on it.

I don't think the trial will be in secret as such - likely there will be media access but certain details will probably be suppressed.

However for this preliminary process, it seems nothing will be public.

If it gets to trial that is... why have they all been sent to the juvenile court?

German prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters said it was “unlikely” he will be charged over Madeleine’s disappearance ahead of the trial.

The Braunschweig-based official told the Mirror: “Anything is possible, but it is unlikely, at least in terms of time.”

But he revealed investigators are now working “solely” on the Madeleine probe after completing their work on the other cases.

Would you feel the same way if Brueckner was acquitted and the evidence wasn't made public ?

According to prosecutors press release, because some of the victims are children, special procedures apply and i guess at this stage they don't want to split the indictments up

Does this refer to ages of victims now or when the alleged offences took place ?
By my reckoning, only 1 victim is likely to be still a child.

Why would the Germans go to all this trouble for a patsy
Its not much trouble, they just put out a communication that says they suspect as he has a record of this stuff and he was in area, that he is a suspect.
