Yes, because I sent the DF e-fit and the passport photo of SBG to OG days before the 2013 appeal. And then the e-fit did not appear in the 2013 appeal and they showed e-fit1, e-fit2, and e-fit4 (e-fit3 missed).
So there is still a chance the DF sighting could be someone other than SBG , who just looked a bit like SBG ?
It is possible, but I think OG have discarded the sighting after quizzing SBG (if they quizzed him). IMO.
He does closely resemble the efit but I’m surprised that his height wasn’t mentioned- from his SM pics, he looks tall.
I don't see any evidence that there was a general search apart from a check on reception and police station. Other than that, all I see are enquiries into the individuals later constituted arguidos and their friends.

Yes I'm aware of that. The report stems from the claims of PJ deputy director Carlos Farinha who alluded to the fact SY have known about CB since 2012 during an interview with Lusa back in 2020.I found the following snippet from Reuters of interest given recent discussion of knowledge and awareness of CB in the investigation.

CB lived in the Algarve between 1995 and 2007 and burgled hotels and holiday flats etc, information verified by Reuters who had sight of court documents in 2020.

Amaral?And.. Just to touch on the subject of CB's ever expanding portfolio of legal representatives, I think it should be made clear that there are many restrictions on what costs can be claimed from the state and under what circumstances.
We are told CB has been represented since 2020 by Friedrich Fulscher... and Johann Schwenn... two of the best defence lawyers in the country (they really are) plus now...a recent name added in 2023 in Phillip Marquot. FF also claims there is a team of UK lawyers being contracted with one of their main roles being to review the media coverage around CB...and yet the man had no pennies...amazing stuff!
The point is...whomever is bankrolling all this, we can be 100% sure it is not the German state!

In other words, you can't go cherry pick the best lawyers in the land to come represent you and even moreso when you haven't even been charged with anything yet...
To get such lawyers representing you doesn't happen through a lottery. It's either a big Pro Bono deal (which the defence would normally advertise to their advantage)... or some 'body' is playing the fiddle in the background....

That is a possibility I admit. But Fulscher and Schwenn are hardly in need of advertising, they're two of the most in-demand defence lawyers in the country. If anything, putting their names to this case carries quite a risk that they don't really need to take. Also, FF said he cannot divulge who is paying for their services when he could have just as easily have said he was working Pro bono and avoid any futher media speculation over it.
According to the information supplied in Malleux's post I don't think anyone in CB's legal team require any advertising eithe pro bono or at the going rate.
