Didn't the Pisa article say the letters were written and received by whoever before last week's searches were announced?

("One letter was sent just days before the start of this week's search for her at the Barragem do Arade reservoir")
Yes good point. The searches were planned for over a month. I wonder if the defence got wind of this before the searches happened.

I very much doubt it. Even Clarke said he only knew about it a couple of days before the ordinary folk like us armchair sleuths got to know.

Anyone who's read GA's latest book will see he's still got sources in the force giving him intel. The amount of confidential information he's managed to get hold of regarding the current investigation is obscene.

Yet he doesn't seem to be able to find out what diligences took place into CB during his own investigation or why he was a suspect. Go figure.
Would you say the same if it was a journalist who had this information ?

Yes. Besides, knowing things and publishing them for the world to see are two very different things. Have you read the book?

The "leaky" PJ would have known in advance due to the ILOR sent by BKA.

Which one? There are so many.

His 2nd book was published in 2021 wasn't it? Huge amounts of information had been shown on TV and printed in papers by then.

So the 'leaky' PJ are leaking to CB's lawyers as well now? (Come off it. Behave! ;))

He's written two. Basta de Mentiras (Enough of the lies) is the most recent one which covers the German investigation. Have you read it?

I meant her speculation about fibres in her interview with HCW

That must surely have come from PJ?
Ah right. Probably. I wonder if they were being deliberately mischevious if so?

There has, but there's things in the book that have not been mentioned at all in the press, either before or since. It's clear from the book that GA is at times quoting verbatim from police documents; Portuguese, British and German.

Speaking to The Mirror, Mr Wolters said: “We will issue a short press release. But please don't expect too much, especially nothing spectacular.”

And the BKA just let this all happen do they? Give over. They'd be arresting folk.
Do the BKA have the power of arrest in Portugal?

thanks. and he has been caught - and served time - twice on drugs offences.
Even after the period of time, he made this statement about!

He's an irrelevance along with MWT, Sutton, Gamble et al, they are just noise.
Well I don't know, Dudley and Malleux have got me intrigued about his new book now. Sounds like it's brilliant :D

HCW couldn't have known about it either then.

I didn’t even know he had a new book, not that I would have read it if I did. I read his first one which was very poor IMO, more like a pamphlet than a book.

So, new nothing...
They will need his confession. (for better prison conditions?!).

I wouldn't like to put it to the test if I were a PJ officer resisting - as they all do of course - the temptation to leak. One call from BKA HQ to Lisbon and you might be in big trouble.
