To move our discussion a little bit more back into the direction of the recent investigations. No offence against anybody!
I'm still confused about the patterns of the excavations, that have been made at arade reservoir. Especially the larger trenches seem to be interesting, as they are located around the center of an area, that might have been frequented by humans in the past.
I'm still aware of the reported statement, CB made to Lenta J.
"Pigs do eat human flesh!"
Some of my recent investigations into reports of campers at the algarve brought to light, that wild boars are known for frequenting the area around arade reservoir as well.
And the areas, constantly frequented by campers should be very interesting for these kind of animals, according to rests of food, empty food packings etc..
They do eat human flesh, of course. But there are some things, that they won't be able of digesting in a short period of time.
So my question is, were they looking for teeth or traces of teeth, maybe by excavating larger areas who seem to be places, wild animals use to excrete their excrements? They should be able of extracting DNA from fragments of teeth, aren't they?
Just a thought.....
