They even have a caption "MARK LARGE" in the pictures, so they may fit CB.

The name Mark Large is preceded by the international copyright symbol; that's the photographer's name, not the size.

Odd question but do you think these could have been worn by a grown man? I ask because HB stated that when she was attacked the man was wearing what looked like a "leotard."

They could also have been taken by him in attacks or burglaries so that needs to be checked by LE and forensics done.

I imagine that the police are hoping that owner(s) of the found swimsuits - or their parents - might come forward, so the police can track more of Brueckner's movements. Hence the release of the swimsuit photos.

Agreed; and as those pictured are Team Competition suits, the sheer volume of possible victim/owner is narrowed down. Team suits are usually ordered as a whole order for the team at the outset of the training year. Hopefully, someone on a team, recognizes their suit and reports it which would then allow the police to reach out to current/former team members to determine whether we have a sexual abuse victim or a victim of theft.

Whoever that suit belongs to would definitely notice it missing - or their parent would. After a swim-meet a few of us decided we were going to swim in the hotel pool that evening to relax. I was probably about 13 or 14 then. Hung my flyback up on the hook on the back of the bathroom door after rinsing it to dry it out … and checked out the next morning … leaving it there. Clued in Monday when packing up my stuff to head to practise and my mom and dad lost their minds. LOL. Called the hotel and it was gone. I had to work off the money it cost them to have the team order/buy me a new one. Fun times.

Someone, will know ...

My daughter was the same with her team gymnastics kit, they cost a fortune (almost £100 each). She used it for school gymnastics once and lost it, was not happy.

<modsnip: quoted post was removed>

I do think there is trafficking or a ring involved.. especially because of the story of Raymond Hewlett. I do suspect those people know each other from forums on the Darkweb and brag to each other about there deeds or material they own and maybe they meet each other in person in Portugal to make some sort of plan. But that is all because of the stories i read online... its still speculation and i could be totally wrong about.

In the article from EXCLUSIVE: Footage of property where paedophile and suspect Christian Brueckner lived in the months after Madeleine McCann disappeared from Portugal - Olive Press News Spain there is also a mention about Lisbon.

About the kiosk time in Germany,it seems that CB sold stolen meat (from supermarkets) and made in the beginning a lot of profit and was “successful”. SPIEGEL TV exklusiv: Das kriminelle Leben des Christian B. - DER SPIEGEL - Panorama

Two things:
1. One of the I'd drawing s (the one with a man wearing sunglasses and has a broader face) looks to me more like MT than CB

2. CB's 'sexual issues'....(I hope I'm allowed to say this). I wonder if CB had issues with the size of his 'manhood'? Perhaps he was teased as a child because of this, maybe from from gfs, maybe that's what turned his head towards children, and more vulnerable victims. He had power and couldn't be laughed at? People said he was an angry man, full of rage . If his face is disguised on the videos he made, perhaps he can be identified by other parts of his body?
Just a thought....

Personally I think he hates women, seeking from abandonment issues, first his birth mother left him and then his adoptive Mum gave him up when things got tough. I believe that could be the root of his anger problem and it shows in his need to control and humiliate women IMO.

I think you're right about him being identifiable even with the mask but it has been reported he is covered in birthmark and has a large scar on his right thigh

ETA Imagine having Mummy issues AND manhood issues:eek:

EXCLUSIVE: Former friend of Maddie suspect Christian B spent months with him in Spain's Andalucia and believes he's guilty - Olive Press News Spain
a bit more about the stash in the farmhouse from this fella MT.
• big bag of cash.
• loads of passports
• any other stolen goods
• camcorder

a couple of thoughts:
wouldn't CB be straight after these german 'friends' the day he got out?
i can imagine a load of passports require quite a different kind of stolen goods buyer than - for instance - a camcorder.

eta
• a bunch of rolex watches (also in the stash)

Depends... they're described as "friends" that he sent to the home to collect his things - but he may have heard that they had found his video collection and realized that going after them was probably going to end up with him back in jail very quickly if they told police what they had on him. It is also possible that part of the story isn't true. They may not have been "friends" who he had "sent" at all - it is possible they were "debt collectors".... perhaps he had some unpaid debt in the underworld?

Bbm. This is what the Irish woman said about the man that attacked her.

You are spot on - some great character analysis here IMO

He did ... but he didn't tell the whole story... he was in need of money ... so he asked lots of money for the story, but nobody wanted to give it to him

This is an article about him (sorry, it's the daily mail)

Paedophile Raymond Hewlett admits 'I saw Madeleine McCann twice' before she disappeared | Daily Mail Online

He had a German wife, was living in Aachen, Germany at least some time.

Hewlett, who has been imprisoned three times in the UK for sex offences, is one of 38 paedophiles known to have been - or still be - in the Algarve when Madeleine vanished.

The McCanns' detectives are building profiles on each of them and are understood to regard four or five of them as being particularly significant. I wonder if CB was one of them.

Hewlett was said to be an hour's drive up the coast in May 2007, living on a campsite with his wife and six children (say what???) in a blue Dodge truck, which detectives would still like to trace.

He later moved the family to a camp ground in Morocco. Didn't Brückner talked about or had a plan selling children to Morocco? Can't recall where I read that, sorry.

Added. I found it.

It's a quote from his "friend" Madeleine McCann suspect's best friend believes he abducted her and sold her

He claimed: “He was always bragging about money and making money. He even talked about selling kids, maybe to Morocco.

I've only just realised that he fits the description of the pock marked 'ugly' man carrying a child. Sorry, a bit slow at the back here as you've probably already discussed this. JMO MOO

I was thinking about things like: why CB in particular...were their other (German) sex offenders (in the Algarve/PdL, he was associated with, shared things with, could there have been a possible ring....without re-doing the whole MM threads.

Have you thought about alerting LE on this point?!
