Part Two of the ID documentary shown on TV last night, all are quotes except my comments or questions are in brackets and are JMO MOO (see part one for more clarification).

The mugshots of the 3 men. "It's unsure if it was one man or three different men."

One of the quotes said "Pedophilia is no stranger to Portugal. There have long been Pedophiles working in the Algarve where the McCann's stayed. We don't know the exact figure but its a frighteningly high figure."

"There were 28 break ins all within 40 miles of PDL that appear to have involved a man who wanted to interfere with little children, with little girls. Four of those had involved children of British citizens. One of them there had been an attempt to abduct a little girl, she had been around 3 years old."
(Note from me: This clarifies why I think its highly important that local TV coverage for Kent on Meridian news from September of the year MM went missing is looked at by Police IMO that I keep mentioning in here regarding a scuffle and apprehension of a potential pedophile along the coast that summer by a British father. Happy to clarify/bore you again if needs be).

"There were reports of suspicious men in PDL in days before 3rd May, saying they were collecting for charity. They were all very distracted when asking for money. A lot of the women who answered their doors thought the guys were weird and suspicious - they said they were collecting for an Orphanage in a village called (this is phonetic as I've no idea how to spell this) Espichey which is very close to PDL and it is rock solid confirmed there is no orphanage in (again phonetic spelling) Espichey. This was a scam and it was obvious that at least one of these scam merchants had an intereste in little girls. A deviant interest in little girls. One witness realised her caller wasn't looking at her when she spoke as he was looking down at her little girl."

"It becomes clear from speaking to OC staff how frequent burglaries were and that 1st floor and corner apartments were particularly vulnerable. Apartment 5A was both."

"In February an apartment 100 yards away was burlged. About 3 weeks prior to May 3rd an apartment in same block as 5A had been burlged. Only the week before May 3rd the apartment upstairs from 5A had an attempted burglary."

Phone records on may 3rd:
"Three men who had reputations as known thieves - their phones were so active that night the Police characterised them as red hot. They turned out to be 3 OC employees who had been preying on visitors"

It then said "J d. S, RR and PR were questioned re MMc. They insisted innocence and phone calls they made were a coincidence."
"There was nothing that lead UK Police to link or charge them. It was a lead that led nowhere."


"Metropolican Police can't decide if JT and MS witness are 2 different men or the same one."

Above are all quotes from the documentary except the parts in brackets are MOO JMO.

If CB is MM's abductor, it makes me wonder who else would have known about it at the time. Someone else besides CB must have known.

At the very least somebody would have had a suspicion it was him at the time & not raised it.

Another witness "CT was having afternoon tea in apartment above 5A and saw a man close the gate looking furtive, stealthy and the moment she heard the news of M disappearance she called the Police"

Did this witness give a description of the man closing the gate or was a sketch/photofit ever made?

I know there are numerous photofits around but I'm a bit confused as to which one came from which witness.

You and me both. The documentary didn't show or discuss that but later or earlier on they showed the three photofits together. Not very helpful.

When I do a side by side comparison I see CB in a blond wig

We know about some of his sexual perversions ... any rumors of cross dressing ?

Yes...that sighting of the man at the gate seems really important too.

iirc the 2 sketches that look like the Podesta brothers (!) are supposed to be the same person and are the "Smithman" sighting. I think the one where the suspect looks very ugly and pockmarked come from the young girl whose grandmother used to live in the OC apartment block (or near there anyway).

Yesterday I spent several hours "touring" many of the commercial loading docks but did not find anything so far.

It has been reported this witness (CT) believes CB was the man she saw closing the gate.

I find the blogs in 'Shining in Luz' fascinating,i know its mostly stuff thats in pj files but they have put a lot of effort into breaking it down and analysing in small chunks.Still think it was CB,however i do also think theres a few dodgy character in the staff also.Maybe there was someone helping somewhere behind the scenes giving info to CB.I like that its from people that live there so it can go into detail with layouts and locations which is all very interesting. Apologies if people have already read and gone over it,but if you have not it is worth a read x

i read a blog called textusa. also fascinating for the insane amount of detail, on the tiniest aspects. most of it possibly out of the window now CB has been mentioned.
