This article claims Nora was found with some scratches on her legs.
Her feet though, marks inconsistent with terrain and distance traveled if she did travel alone..

I had never read these details from the shaman's statement and it's bang onto what I think happened. It seems like someone contacted him anonymously after she had died sort of like a "confession" if they were catholic - and then his statement was his way of attempting to lay the groundwork for the context under which her body would be found. If anyone named so far knows who held her, it's that shaman.

You are not alone in these thoughts as we discussed this when the news first broke about the Shamen.

THe Shaman aked that she be returned unharmed, intact, unchanged.
That did not happen though.
And whereas that does not entirely discredit the shaman or his powers, he was not granted his request.
I'm not convinced he had a local contact .
There were several shamans involved, some from overseas, links posted last night.
It is highly unlikely they all colluded together to protect an alleged kidnapper.

For instance:
Malaysian shamans conduct rituals to help locate missing Nora Quoirin

The day after the shamans had been, Nora was found. It's easy to look up this info.
The only thing is that she was already dead since 4 days when she was found.
That is the date the article was published, not the date of the shaman

edited to add info
The shamans worked for a week or more
A HANDFUL OF traditional Malaysian shamans have joined in the search efforts to locate 15-year-old Nora Quoirin who has been missing in Malaysia for more than a week. published aug 12.. we can assume the week preceded august 12.

Not being pedantic here or defending all shamans but I do respect the work of traditional well trained shamans.
Sadly they did not get what they requested despite all their efforts.

very interesting
Earlier, the ninth witness in the proceedings, which entered its sixth day today, told the court that based on Nora Anne’s physical description, it would be quite difficult for the teenager to cross the area around the resort, including reaching the location where her body was found on Aug 13.

KLIA police K9 Unit handler Sergeant S Simon said this was because he himself had experienced difficulties during the operation and slipped several times.

To a question from Nora Anne’s family lawyer, S Sakthyvell, Simon said he and his search dog were involved in the SAR operation that lasted four days — on Aug 6, 8, 11 and 12, 2019.

I’m confused. The inquest testimony quoted below by @Alyce says that she disappeared from the room she was staying in, which had a faulty window handle. Do they mean the blue shutter on the right of the photo posted from thread #1 shown below? In the DM article from last year, it claims that the downstairs window is the one from which she exited, leading to the question by @Ardoch...

Either way, her exit would have been difficult...either from a second story window or down a flight of stairs to exit from the living area near where her parents were sleeping. Of course, reporter error is always possible, but which account is wrong?
Even as someone without learning difficulties, this long window looks very much like a door to me, so if N was awake and as it was broken could open it, would she not just think it was a door? She may have even heard discussions about it being unlocked. IMO

Also, as one of her siblings earlier said she thought N had gone out that way, maybe her siblings know a different side to her?

You don't? We all do things every day that increase the risk of something bad happening but we do it in the belief that the reward will be worth the increased risk. It's easy to attack Nora's parents in hindsight as the risks they chose to undertake in this case are pretty obvious - and it's probably especially tempting for people without the means to take a (lowish budget) tropical vacation to pile on that they wouldn't even if they could. The bottom line is that the Quorin's actions while arguably somewhat unwise and their reaction superficially somewhat suspicious, no investigators either in Malaysia or back in Europe has considered them suspect so there's no point in pointing fingers at them. I'm sure that deep down they feel profoundly guilty already and will carry that forever.

RSBM. No I don't. Sorry I think my post may have been unclear, especially my last sentence. I do not think anything that they did resulted in Nora's death regardless of whether it was accidental or foul play; but I was saying they might second-guess themselves in guilt.

Let's sleuth together then;
Your article dated Monday August 12th:
The article does not say that the Malaysian shamans worked for a week. The article says that Nora was missing for a week.
The article says that the Malaysian shamans joined police without specifying the date. You can assume that the arrival of the shaman is new news, so his/their arrival is very recent.

Next article dated Thursday August 15th:
A Malaysian shaman joined police from Ireland, France and the UK on Monday in the search for the 15-year-old London girl who mysteriously vanished from a nature resort as her parents offered a cash reward and appealed for information.
Therefore the Malaysian shaman joined police on Monday the 12th of August.

The lawyer representing Noras family is questioning in English- how have I missed that. If anyone has the time to scroll back through the 8 plus hours of footage each day- we might get some clearer statements. So far today there has been 3 witnesses called and the second witness was sharing a map of the area.

This is strange

Earlier, in her opening remarks, Maimoonah said the inquest would be conducted in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.

She explained that some of the witnesses were not conversant in English.

In accordance with provisions of the National Language Act 1963/67, "the court allows the proceedings to be conducted partly in Bahasa Malaysia and partly in English," she said.

From the first day.
Now with all the interest in this case garnered worldwide. it sure is surprising that the English speaking media is not all over the story.

Maimoonah said the purpose of the inquest was to find the cause of Nora Anne's death based on a few questions, such as when, where and how she died.

"We are here not to prosecute anybody and the counsel are not here to defend anybody," she said.

SEREMBAN, Sept 3 — A total of eight fingerprints were lifted from a window at a jungle villa where Irish-French teen Nora Anne Quoirin supposedly exited and disappeared near here last year, a former state Criminal Investigations Department chief testified at the Coroner’s Court today.

Assistant Commissioner Wan Rukman Wan Hassan said the police made the findings after dusting the window at Sora House located within The Dusun resort for fingerprints.

He added that the fingerprints were lifted on August 4, 2019, subsequent to a missing persons report lodged by the resort owner and family on the same day.

“We managed to obtain eight fingerprints from the window frame and 20 samples taken from family members, workers, former workers and workers in an adjacent resort for our comparisons.

“The results which I was informed of on August 6, 2019 on the eight samples were as followed;
four of them had inadequate features while four more were in suitable condition.

“Of the four that we compared with the 20 samples we obtained, only one matched the mother of the missing person while the remaining three were unknown,” Wak Rukman, the 11th witness in Quoirin’s inquest, told Coroner Maimoonah Aid.

When asked further what he meant by inadequate features by Quoirin’s lawyer S. Sakthyvell, Wak Rukman explained that these fingerprints could mean partial or side prints which rendered them unsuitable for analysis.

As for the three unknown fingerprints and whether Quoirin’s fingerprint could be one of them, Wak Rukman explained that it may also belong to the previous tenants before affirming that the authorities managed to obtain the girl’s fingerprint through the assistance of the International Criminal Police Organisation (Interpol).

“At that time when we lacked a sample, we did manage to obtain a fingerprint sample later from her home country through Interpol but it was her middle finger.

“But that too was incomplete and we couldn’t make our comparison.

“Even after she was found and a sample taken, there was no positive result as her prints have shrivelled due to the exposure [of her body] to the environment,” he said.

From all the above, there is no proof of Nora's fingerprints on the window. So what exactly is the reason that the Malaysian police are so certain that Nora exited Sora house via this window ?

Pity they haven't placed a picture of that bamboo plant area "at about 50-metre radius from Sora House."

In earlier articles the opening in the fence near the Sora house was debated. It's where footsteps had been found and police denied them being Nora's.
Could that bamboo place be there? Or somewhere else? It's 50 yards from the house.
Here is a photo of the fence at a bamboo area where those footsteps had been found:
