This is what I couldn’t fathom, as surely she had to have had the ulcer already? People can live for longer without food as long as they have water. If there is water available and you’re dehydrated then natural instinct would kick in?
I
love my gastroenterologist. That guy improved my quality of life, yeah boy!
For some of us, our stomach/gastro conditions hurt
while food is being processed,
after eating. Before above-mentioned doctor addressed my problem, I hesitated to eat in public because it often hurt.
I don't know anything about this child's ulcer, but in her case, she may have preferred being hungry to the pain experienced after eating.
I do carry back-up medicines now.
If this young lady knew that
Mom/Dad had her medicines,
she was only to eat 'approved' foods to avoid problems
only to eat when medicines were available
-- she couldn't meet the conditions or procedures of eating so didn't?
Okay, I'm rambling, and really hope a few of you get what I'm saying here!
Still, condolences to this family & all who knew Nora!
