“A crime scene has been declared in the front yard of beachside Sunshine Coast home reportedly owned by a skin care founder after a man in his 50s died from multiple stab wounds.

A two-storey residence on the street was cordoned off with crime scene tape.

Two vehicles, one of them a luxury BMW convertible, remained parked in the driveway on Tuesday as forensic teams began combing the area for evidence.

According to The Courier Mail, the property is owned by Zdravko Bilic and Gry Susann Tomte, the latter who owns skin care brand HÜD Skin and Body.”

“A man has been found fatally stabbed outside his luxury beachside home co-owned by a skincare entrepreneur, triggering a major homicide investigation.

57-year-old Zdravko Bilic was unresponsive when he was found by a neighbour in the front yard of the property on Napalle St, Warana at about 7.35pm on Monday.

“One of the lines of inquiry is that he has disturbed a break and enter,” he said.

“We will continue to follow that and other investigative strategies.”

Seems the two teenagers were on bail at the time they allegedly murdered Mr Bilic.

Two teenagers, a 15-year-old West Woombye boy and a 17-year-old Beerwah boy, have since been charged with murder.

Footage released by the Queensland Police Service on Thursday shows one of the boys being arrested as he gets off of a bus.

“You’re arrested for murder,” one of the officers said as he was pulled from the bus.

Another clip appears to show the other teenager’s arrest on a quiet street overnight.

They are set to appear in Maroochydore Childrens Court on Thursday.

“We will allege two youths entered Mr Bilic’s house on Sunday night in relation to a break and enter,” Inspector Toohey said.

He alleged the boys stole items – including the keys to Mr Bilic’s car – before being confronted by Mr Bilic.

It is alleged the altercation appeared to have started inside the house before Mr Bilic ended up on the front lawn of the property.

Police have since located a knife they allege was used as a weapon, which is now undergoing forensic testing.

Inspector Toohey said the boys had been charged with unrelated break-and-enters in the two days prior to the alleged murder.

“We will allege they broke into another address on the Sunshine Coast as well as another in Brisbane,” he said.

The 17-year-old boy was arrested in Toowoomba and the 15-year-old in Chermside.

This is incredibly sad, appalling and all sorts of wrong.

How is it that a person/couple who have most likely worked hard all of theirs lives to be able to afford a certain lifestyle, a beautiful expensive home & luxury cars end up murdered.

Murdered in their own home allegedly by two teens on bail. Murdered trying to protect themselves and their property that they have no doubt worked hard for.

Two teens that likely have a lengthy criminal pasts and more than likely have absolutely no regard or respect for anyone else or anyone else's property.

Disgusting

We have new adult crime, adult time laws now for adolescents in QLD.

This case breaks my heart. Coach Zed was my son’s soccer coach. He was such a bright and enthusiastic person, and great with the kids. I literally just saw him a couple of weeks ago. Brings things close to home.

Aww so sorry CuriousDetective…. Sorry for your son also. Will be hard to explain this to your boy, but I’m sending you hugs to give you strength.

Sorry this one is close to you CuriousDetective, thoughts are with you at this time.

I truly hope the new Adult Crime, Adult Time laws are effective and come into play where they should.

Sorry, but I have my doubts that they will

@Marg944 Do you know how to go about changing the thread title? It should be Warana in Queensland not Manara

Hi @brissygirl2019,

As per: Third home invasion murder accused to stay behind bars

"Sky’s two juvenile co-accused were previously remanded in custody for a Maroochydore committal mention on September 10.

If convicted of murder, the boys will serve mandatory life sentences under the Queensland government’s controversial “adult crime, adult time” laws, which came into effect in late 2024."
