Man with Machete knocking on doors

I saw this article and I wasn't sure where to post it. I decided to post it here, because although it certainly appears there was intent to commit a crime, nothing actually occurred, and it is certainly a bizarre story. I hope they identify this guy. I couldn't find a thread on this, although there might be one. Footage shows man armed with machete knocking on Florida doors

Wonder if tapping a door/house with a machete has some significance in a Caribbean religion?

Wonder if the Mystery Machete Tapper only stops at houses that are completely dark -- no lighted windows?

Might reduce the risks in Stand Your Ground Florida, imho.

Could just be a door to door Machete Salesman, it would explain why he was dressed well….. (Seriously though I am glad no one was hurt )
