COUPLE DEAD: Man, woman found covered in blood at Toronto condo
"A man and a woman are dead in a mysterious incident that unfolded at a Midtown apartment building Saturday afternoon.

Emergency responders found the couple covered in blood just after 1 p.m."

"Cops were slow to call it a homicide or put any label on it."

"Police have been criticized before for rushing to judgement — specifically on the day almost two years ago when Honey and Barry Sherman were found dead in their North York home.

However, the situation at the Midtown condo is also complicated and police are doing their due diligence to ensure the appropriate team investigates the tragic deaths".

In Canada and most specifically Toronto, a condo can be any kind of apartment, townhouse, multiplex etc.

True. This address, however, is a rental apartment building. A very old, unkempt kinda place; IMO.

Given the recent past history of murders in TO, I am glad that TPS is taking their time making any comments about this dreadful situation.

Murder-suicide? Perhaps.

Updated, yes.
Woman found dead in Toronto apartment was strangled in apparent murder-suicide, police say

"When he found out that Geleta had been murdered, he said it was “very hard to swallow because can you imagine, Beti’s (Bethelhem) only 22. That was exactly her birthday, Oct. 26 was her birthday.”

Lome said that two weeks prior, Geleta had told her boyfriend she was having an affair with Daba. However, the three of them got together in the apartment to talk about it.

“Daba told Beti that he’s in love with her and the three of them had some kind of discussion and I think part of it was, ‘Who do you love?’ and Beti’s response was ‘I am treating [Daba] like my brother, whereas my boyfriend is my boyfriend,'” Lome continued.

He said Geleta told Daba the affair was over and her and her boyfriend would be moving out of the apartment.

Lome said Daba worked at a grocery store and was a quiet person. He said there were no signs that Daba was a violent man."
