Okay, well here is some good news. I have a good friend who is very smart. She knows absolutely nothing about this case. I mean NOTHING. Only has heard me talk about my obsession with it for the past 4 years. She is smart and has followed many cases in the past so she understands trials. She watched opening statements this morning and she thought Ross was great. She liked the technical cell phone info. So, maybe the jurors felt the same. It is hard to think like a juror when you already know so many details, facts, familiar with witnesses, etc...& have been studying this stuff for 4 years.

I am always so very thankful to hear good news. Cell phone technology is such a good outcome in apprehending the bad guys and is very fascinating. Dan May, Colorado District Attorney, said in his press conference the FBI learned even more in the cell phone technology field from the Frazee case. That says a lot. Thank you.

these criminals are just going to have to learn how to go old school and not carry a phone and drive and an old car that does not have GPS. I drive around all day w/o a cell phone, I refuse to be chained, 'ill call you when I get home and if you can't call me on the phone then we ain't gonna talk, I don't text lol criminals are so stupid lol

That’s really interesting. I do think we all know too much to truly be objective. Ross is just not a very likeable person for some reason. Not sure what it is. Reminds me of a school principal.

I think JRR’s attorneys are probably very emotionally invested in this case after four years. I think they probably want to listen to whether the state includes any evidence that would help reasonable doubt for appeal, or if the state tells the story differently for this trial. I don’t find it odd for them to be present. MS’s defense were at JRR’s trial.

Funny you say that. Another friend who is very familiar with this case said Ross reminded her of a literature professor who had a very dry delivery when she lectured. She found it boring, too.

I’m assuming she may be a beginning witness? ETA NEVERMIND that would be for defense.

I was under the assumption that their relationship is strained....

No sound yet?

All good, early tuning in & just out of the shower—my bad timing. Should’ve known it would be a few mins til jury enters.

I have no idea, but I’m sure we will notice her red hair if she joins later.

I believe that’s why the defense in JRR’s trial said it was setup intentionally by CWW. They claimed he was way too smart to leave a trail.

The first witness for the state is Lee County Sheriff Det. Jamie Nolen. He is a repeat from #jimmyrodgersontrial but he was not the first witness for that case. #trialtweets #NBC2CourtCoverage #MarkSieversontrial #TeresaSievers

The state calls its first witness, Det. Jamie Nolen with the Lee County Sheriff's Office. He was a homicide investigator at the time of the Sievers murder case @winknews

The first state witness is taking the stand.

Det. Jamie Nolen, an investigator from the LCSO.

He became involved in the Teresa Sievers murder investigation as the lead investigator.
