Your basic point was correct. They don't actually know for certain she used heroin or died from it. The paraphernalia might have already been their when her body was found.

Also, I am having difficulty finding the rule out lists people keep referencing, even when following the links. Do you have to be logged into NamUs or the other websites to view it, rather than accessing as a guest? Has it been updated? I'd like to add any new rule outs to my file. Thanks!

She looks very possible. Demographics work, timeline works, it's only around 200 miles from where she went missing to where the remains were found.

I agree, I think you should submit her. I track this case in NamUs, they modified her profile today - not sure what. They still have 17 rule outs with the last one being Jennifer Wilkerson from back in June.

Meant to update, life got in the way. I submitted the potential match between Jane Doe and Phylicia Thomas to the Anne Arundel and Luzerne Counties Sheriff Dept. Haven't heard anything back yet, but I'll update if/when I do!

Side note - I think Michelle Rust was just about as perfect as a match as possible. Red hear, heights and weights add up, went missing from a place in Maryland 11 minutes away from Brooklyn on maps. But I see she is a ruleout.
