Thank you Carbuff, read over the article in your post. Sorry.

No problem. It's easy to miss things.

Your basic point was correct. They don't actually know for certain she used heroin or died from it. The paraphernalia might have already been their when her body was found.

Is there any way to do an accurate toxicology screen on hair or bone one month after death?

Wanting to bump this. Did anyone ever submit Melinda McGhee from Alabama? Did you hear back?

Also, I am having difficulty finding the rule out lists people keep referencing, even when following the links. Do you have to be logged into NamUs or the other websites to view it, rather than accessing as a guest? Has it been updated? I'd like to add any new rule outs to my file. Thanks!

@NamelessNotForgotten, yes, you need to have an account at Namus and be logged into it to see the exclusions list. People outside the US can't get accounts, which is why I and several others try to keep the lists updated as much as possible.

Probably a long shot, but what do y'all think about Phylicia Albina Thomas? Demographics seem to line up. Maybe I just want to see it?

I may have missed this, but does LE have DNA for this woman?

Brooklyn Jane Doe has been unidentified for 16 years today.

She looks very possible. Demographics work, timeline works, it's only around 200 miles from where she went missing to where the remains were found.

I think you should submit her.

I agree, I think you should submit her. I track this case in NamUs, they modified her profile today - not sure what. They still have 17 rule outs with the last one being Jennifer Wilkerson from back in June.

Meant to update, life got in the way. I submitted the potential match between Jane Doe and Phylicia Thomas to the Anne Arundel and Luzerne Counties Sheriff Dept. Haven't heard anything back yet, but I'll update if/when I do!

Jennifer Lee Wilson?

29 years old, last seen in Kansas in 2002.

5' 5" - 5' 9" 110 - 125 lbs

Her hair is described as curly brownish red.

Side note - I think Michelle Rust was just about as perfect as a match as possible. Red hear, heights and weights add up, went missing from a place in Maryland 11 minutes away from Brooklyn on maps. But I see she is a ruleout.

Still haven't gotten any updates. Bumping for this Jane Doe. :(

The 17th anniversary of Brooklyn Jane Doe’s discovery passed recently.

@Caring1 Hey could you post the current list of NamUs exclusions for this Jane Doe? I would greatly appreciate it.
