According to police, officers were sent to the 900 block of Spa Road for an unresponsive body and found a dead man in a wooded area. After an investigation, police said they believe this case will be ruled a homicide based on evidence recovered.
Annapolis Police detectives say through their investigations and evidence recovered, they believe that the death will be ruled a homicide by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

Detectives were able to identify the victim as David Winchester, Jr., a 47-year-old man from Baltimore.

At this time police say it appears Winchester was abducted by unknown suspects in Baltimore on March 28th.

Baltimore Police said overnight two men forcefully entered the Southwest Baltimore home of Winchester's mother demanding money.

The suspects at the time claimed to be holding Winchester, and threatened to harm him if they didn't get the cash.

Both eventually fled the location without the money in an unknown car.

What a horrible, sad situation

WBAL story in OP has been updated. Three arrested
*UPDATE*(4/5) Annapolis police have arrested three suspects in connection to this case. Police said they issued warrants for Jamar Fincher, 36, Monae Fincher, 35, and Marquis Mayo, 35, all of Baltimore. The first two suspects Jamar and Monea Fincher were arrested on April 4, while Mayo was arrested on April 5.

ETA: update from WMAR gives a little background
One gunman chased Winchester's sister upstairs, firing into a bedroom she locked herself in.

No one was struck, but the suspects turned their attention back towards the mother threatening to kill her and Winchester before finally leaving in a blue Eclipse.

It turns out Winchester visited the Safari Nightclub on O'Donnell Street earlier in the night. Cell phone records indicate Fincher was there as well.

[...]

It's unclear why Fincher targeted Winchester. Court records do show Fincher being released from jail just three weeks ago for an armed robbery conviction.

Bolding mine.
Hmmm.
Wonder if any texts were recovered that could shed light on this sad situation ?
Omo.

RIP to the victim, David.

According to charging documents, two suspects went to the home of the victim’s mother and told her that they had Winchester in the trunk of their car. Demanding to come inside, both brandished weapons, including an AR rifle, and threatened to kill his mother and his sister, whose children were upstairs, police said. According to charging documents, the sister was chased upstairs, and two gunshots pierced the door she was behind. The suspects then left in a blue vehicle.
