But in the end, Norwood, who went to high school in Washington state and college in Long Island, N.Y., couldnt keep her story going, police said. http://www.washingtonpost.com/local/2011/03/18/ABd2rJs_story.html

Sadly, people kill each other over money day in and day out. I am guessing she might have come back to the store after it was closed hoping to steal some merchandise, and Jayna confronted her.FWIW, I just can't see that BN would kill Jayna over money (unless really unstable or there are other issues going on) - I don't see it logically, but me thinks there's something to do with jealously rather than something tangible. Hey, people have killed for next to nothing, though. =P
I wonder if the screaming between 2 women heard by the Apple employees was before or after closing? Norwood supposedly called her to come back to the store because she left something behind. Just wondering how far the premeditation goes back. I don't think this was something spontaneous, but who knows if she came to her decision in a few hours or few weeks. It's not like it was that well thought out. Also, I found it interesting that her car was spattered in blood. Was Jayna attacked in her car and forced into the store? Did she actually make it out of the parking lot? Maybe it's just the wording...I usually associate "spatter" with a blow, as opposed to drippings from an attacker.

This is absolutely irrelevant to Jayna being killed, but it's bugging me: WHY move her car? Anyone have a guess?

More info.
"McCarthy offered new details about what happened before Murray died, saying she had been asked by a store manager to check Norwood's bag for stolen merchandise. Murray called the manager that night to say she believed Norwood had been stealing."
