Jordan Nathaniel Savoy was taken into custody on Sunday and charged with first- and second-degree murder in the child's brutal slaying, authorities announced. Authorities also charged Savoy with counts of first-degree child abuse resulting in death, first-degree child abuse resulting in severe physical injury, first- and second-degree assault, and reckless endangerment.

Was Savoy jealous of the time the mom was taking instead of the time taking care of Savoy?
What do we know about the mother of this little sweet baby?

So glad he is in custody -- hoping for a tuff trial and a tuffer time in custody -- for life, surely.
There is no death penalty in Maryland.

Mom was reportedly at work leaving him in charge of the baby and their two other children. He called her to report that something was "wrong" with their baby. A facetime a few minutes later in which the father said the baby was worse caused mom to tell him to call 911 and then leave her job to head home, only to find the baby was dead.

the mother expressed concerns about leaving him with the baby because of some bruising she had noted on the baby a week prior. The father explained it away as baby having suffered a fall from the bed.
