GUILTY MD - Korryn Gaines, 23, fatally shot by Baltimore police, 1 Aug 2016

Pointing a gun at police and threatening to shot them will surely get that person shot, as it should. jmo

And the person’s child as well. Defending the police shooting an innocent child, to supposedly save the child, is unbelievable. I knew that eventually we would get to a point where police shooting young children would be acceptable. Because the only thing that is important in America is ending the incident, and protecting the cop’s lives. If a few children have to die, then so be it, as long as the police lives are safe.

It has been released. You just don’t care to find out the facts. The cops shot the kid. They have admitted it. The mother was not threatening her child in anyway. The child would have been fine if the cops didn’t shoot him. But people will twist the facts around to defend the cops no matter what.

I did go back and found the article that the police do say they are the ones who accidentally shot the boy. It was posted in the Baltimore Sun yesterday. I do care about the facts, and that is why asked if you have a link as I had not seen the new development at that time.

bbm, It's unbelievable that you think I think that, but then again, not.

So then you think the cops were in the wrong to shoot the child? It sounded to me like you were defending them.

I can believe a lot of things, but not cops intentionally shooting a five year old. MOO

It would seem that if the bullet hit him as an intended hit the child would be dead, it appears from the child's photo in the hospital with a band aid on his cheek that it was probably the bullet grazing his cheek. jmo idk

Only a LOW LIFE PIECE OF SCUM uses her 5 year old child as a shield. She got what she deserved. He son HOPEFULLY will be put into foster care and given TONS of therapy.

He thinks he was intentionally shot in the arm. At least that is what I understood him to say in the video.

In the video, the aunt asked the child, "So they shot my sister?"

"Yes," he said.

"And they shot you too?" she asked.

"Yes, 'cause they saw me run, and then they hurt my arm," he said.

bbm, It's my opinion that him saying they hurt his arm was probably when they snatched him up to get him out of there.jmo

IMO the police did everything they could do have this end peacefully. The father came out with the baby and was not shot at. Hours went by with them trying to negotiate with her. Even bringing in family members and the father to try and talk her out. MSM has reported that several times her gunwas aimed at the child. They didn't seem to think she was purposely aiming the gun at him, but that she was being very erratic with it. IMO she did not care if her child lived or died or she would of sent him out at the beginning gof the stand off.
There is no way I believe the officer shot her just because he could. IMO this went on for so long that the office knew his every action was being scrutinized by the department in real time. Once she pointed the gun at the officer or officers and demanded that they leave or she will kill them they had no choice but to take her out. They couldn't just leave at her request and they had every legal right to take her out before she took them out.

Of course they could. They initially left, and then they came back. They could have left again. There was nothing stoping them from leaving.

Oh sure, leave a woman who chose not to show up for court, then not open the door when they came to serve a warrant for failure to show up. Then she tells them she will kill them. Yeah some would like for the police to just leave, but that is not the way it works, and if I am not mistaken she knew that. In my opinion she knew she was going to jail and that is what she could not handle. She is the cause of her demise. she chose her destiny jmo

Again they backed off one time. They could have backed off again. Their options were unlimited.
